Alexa Bliss had a quick answer for a fan who tried to clown her backstage injury treatment after Friday Night SmackDown.
Following the May 29 episode of WWE SmackDown, one fan questioned why Bliss was shown holding ice packs to her face after Jade Cargill hit her with Jaded onto a steel chair. The fan claimed Alexa didn’t land face-first and asked why she looked like she had been through a much worse match.
“Can someone explain me this? 🤔
Alexa Bliss didn’t Got hit Face first..
So why is she backstage holding ice packs to her face like she just survived a steel cage war. ☠️
Did i miss something? 😂💀
#Smackdown”
Little Miss Bliss responded by pointing out that the match involved far more damage than just the final post-match move. She noted that elbows and boots to the face also played a role, making it clear it wasn’t just about the Jaded: “Elbows crushed -& boots to the face my friend – more to a match than just 1 move”
The exchange came after Jade Cargill defeated Bliss on SmackDown in a hard-hitting match where Jade controlled most of the action with her power. Before the commercial break, Jade even powerbombed Bliss onto the barricade. Alexa eventually fought back and hit the Bliss DDT before going for Twisted Bliss, but Jade got her knees up. Cargill then hit a pump kick and followed with Jaded to pick up the win.
Jade wasn’t done after the bell either. She hit Bliss with another Jaded onto a steel chair before Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley rushed back out to stop more damage. Later, Charlotte was shown helping an injured Bliss backstage by putting ice packs on her face. The fan may have focused on the chair spot, but Bliss made it clear her face took punishment throughout the match. Whether people saw every shot or not, she was not letting that criticism slide.

Do you think Alexa Bliss had every right to fire back at the fan, or was the ice pack moment fair game for jokes? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comments.
