AJ Styles Plans To Make WWE Intercontinental Title Phenomenal

AJ Styles defeated Daniel Bryan for the Intercontinental Title this week on Friday Night SmackDown. It was a long and taxing match, but Styles’ job is just beginning.

Styles released a message on the afternoon following his big win on the blue brand. This is his first reign with the WWE IC Title and he plans to make it count.

I know what this title means.
I know what I have to do.
What a match with @WWEDanielBryan, now it’s about making this title #phenomenal. I’m watching…and waiting.

AJ Styles’ next IC Title defense is currently unknown. He is not currently slated to defend it at Backlash.

We’ll have to see if Sami Zayn returns to make AJ Styles’ life miserable. In the meantime, Styles seems to have a mission to do big things with his new championship.
