Ahmed Johnson is pushing back on a story that has followed him for years.
During a recent appearance on Inside The Ropes, the former WWE star was asked about D’Lo Brown’s version of an alleged backstage altercation between the two men during their time together in the Nation of Domination. Ahmed made it clear that he doesn’t believe the story ever happened the way it has been told over the years.
After hearing the question, Ahmed immediately dismissed the claim and argued that there would have been evidence and discussion about it decades ago if it had actually occurred.
“Let me tell you something. If DLo had beat me up, don’t you think the dirt sheets, everybody would have heard about it? But you tell me 30 years later, you come out with this fantasy that you beat me up 30 years later now. And then you got the Nation behind you backing you up. You got Mark Henry, Kama, they’re backing you up, man. If DLo would have beaten me up, I’d have been bruised up or you would have heard about it 30 years ago.”
Ahmed also questioned why the story only gained traction years later instead of becoming a major topic when it supposedly happened. The story has been discussed in wrestling circles for years, with different accounts emerging from former members of the Nation of Domination. Ahmed’s comments offer a very different perspective and suggest he believes the entire incident has been exaggerated or fabricated.
Whether fans believe Ahmed’s version or D’Lo’s version, it’s clear the issue remains a sore subject decades after their time together in WWE. Ahmed Johnson isn’t backing down from his stance, and his latest comments have reopened a debate that many fans thought had long been settled.
