AEW works hard to make every episode of Dynamite exciting, and the October 6 show is no exception. This week’s episode is the special Grand Slam France edition of the show, full of matches and big moments. Therefore, fans can look forward to a night full of non-stop action and solid entertainment.
AEW World Championship: Will Ospreay (c) vs. Kazuchika Okada
Will Ospreay survived Jon Moxley at All Out. His next title defense isn’t getting any easier. Ospreay puts the AEW World Championship on the line against International Champion Kazuchika Okada in one of the biggest matches AEW could have booked for its first show in France. So we’ll have to see how Ospreay will fare against Okada.
TNT Championship: Darby Allin (c) vs. Kyle Fletcher
Darby Allin’s TNT Championship is up for grabs when he faces Kyle Fletcher. Fletcher has another opportunity to add championship gold to his résumé, but he’ll have to take it from someone who isn’t exactly easy to put away. So fans are waiting to see if Allin can survive Fletcher.
AEW Women’s World Championship: Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Queen Aminata
Mercedes Moné already knows Thekla is waiting for her at WrestleDream. First, she has to make sure she actually gets there as champion. Moné puts the AEW Women’s World Championship on the line against Queen Aminata tonight, meaning looking too far ahead could become a pretty big mistake. So it remains to be seen if Aminata can manage to beat the CEO of AEW somehow.
Other Matches
Bandido is putting the ROH World Championship on the line against Kofi. Jack Perry and Samoa Joe will face each other where the winner will qualify for the Clockwork Carnage match at WrestleDream. Finally, Jon Moxley & Gabe Kidd will face Mark Davis & Jake Doyle in tag team action.
