Will Ospreay has another huge fight lined up after surviving Jon Moxley at AEW All Out on September 26, 2026.
During the post-show panel, Ospreay challenged Kazuchika Okada to meet him at Grand Slam Paris, Okada accepted, and Tony Khan made the match official.
This is personal history between two former NJPW allies. Ospreay and Okada were both part of CHAOS before Ospreay turned on him in 2020 and formed United Empire, with Okada becoming one of the central figures in the faction’s origin story.
Their rivalry has already produced major matches in Japan and AEW. Okada beat Ospreay for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 16, then defeated him again in the 2024 Continental Classic final at AEW Worlds End.
Now they’re headed for another showdown, with both men carrying championship gold into the match: Ospreay is AEW World Champion, while Okada holds the AEW International Championship.
