AEW Dynamite/Collision Results (5/20/2026): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with Excalibur welcoming us as and he hypes some of the upcoming matches. Excalibur is joined on commentary by Taz and Tony Schiavone.

We then see a clip from earlier in the day with Chris Jericho and The Young Bucks. They talk about their Stadium Stampede Match at Double or Nothing. They also talk about their brief history together and Jericho apologizes to The Young Bucks for attacking their father’s a**. The Young Bucks then call themselves The Bucks of Jericho, but Jericho says he was thinking more Y2Jackson.

Chris Jericho and The Young Bucks then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Ricochet and The Don Callis Family follow.

Trios Match: The Demand’s Ricochet and Don Callis Family (Andrade El Idolo and AEW National Champion Mark Davis) vs. Chris Jericho and The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson)

The match starts off with Jericho and Ricochet, but Ricochet tags Andrade in. Jericho then cinches in a head lock ,but Andrade sends him to the ropes and Jericho hits a chop to the chest. Jericho then sends Andrade to the ropes, but Andrade rolls to the outside of the ring. Andrade then begins talking to two females at ringside and they take a selfie with him. Andrade then turns around and Jericho hits a chop to the chest. Andrade then heads back in the ring and Jericho tags Nick into the match. The Young Bucks then get in the ring and Andrade is triple teamed. Nick then grabs Andrade, but Andrade gets him in the corner and Davis is tagged in.

Davis then hits several right hands. Ricochet is then tagged in. Andrade then gets in the ring, but Nick takes them both down. Matt is then tagged in and he hits Andrade with a northern lights suplex. Matt then slams Ricochet face first and he double suplexes Andrade and Ricochet. Nick is then tagged in and The Young Bucks hit a suicide dive onto Ricochet and Andrade. Jericho then climbs the top rope and he hits a splash onto Ricochet, Andrade and Davis. Matt is in the ring with Ricochet. He then tags Jericho in and Ricochet tags Andrade in. Jericho then hits a shoulder tackle. Jericho then climbs the top rope and he hits a double axe handle. Jericho then hits a bull dog. Ricochet then gets on the ring apron, but Jericho hits him with a right hand.

Davis then gets in the ring and Matt hits him with a right hand. Both teams are now in the ring. Jericho and The Young Bucks then hit three hurricanranas off the top rope. The Young Bucks then super kick Andrade and Jericho hits him with the Code Breaker. He then goes for a cover, but Ricochet breaks it up. Jericho then tags Matt in and Matt tags Nick in. The Young Bucks then super kick Andrade and Davis. Ricochet then jumps off the top rope, but they double super kick him. Matt then goes for a splash on Andrade, but he moves out of the way. Andrade then hits a suplex onto Nick and he hits the three amigos. Andrade then suplexes Nick onto Matt. Andrade then climbs the top rope and he goes for the moonsault, but Matt moves out of the way. Andrade then lands on his feet and he goes for a moonsault, but Matt gets his knees up. Nick then hits a Canadian Destroyer and the Young Bucks hit the BTE Trigger.

Matt then goes for a cover, but Ricochet breaks it up. Jericho then grabs Ricochet, but Ricochet kicks him away. Ricochet then goes to the ropes, but Jericho clotheslines him to the outside. Jericho then hits a baseball slide. Jericho then goes to the outside, but Ricochet slams him into the announce desk. Ricochet then climbs on a piece of equipment and lifts Jericho up. Jericho then hits a right hand and he back suplexes Ricochet through a table. Matt then climbs the top rope, but Davis trips him up. Andrade then goes for a spinning elbow onto Nick, but he moves out of the way and Andrade hits Davis. The Young Bucks then hits the BTE Trigger onto Andrade. Matt then goes for a cover, but Andrade kicks out. Davis then grabs a chair and that distracts the referee. Out comes David Finlay and he hits Mat with a shillelagh. Andrade then goes for a cover for the win.

After the match, Toa Liona sends Matt into the corner of the ring and he delivers some right hands and stomps on him. Jack Perry then comes to Matt’s aid with a bag of onions in hand that he uses to hit Liona with, but The Hurt Syndicate comes to Perry’s aid. The Hurt Syndicate then brawls with Davis and Liona through the crowd and everyone continues to brawl with one another in the ringside area and the crowd.

We then head to the back, where Renee Paquette is with Darby Allin. Paquette asks Allin why he keeps defending his titles. Allin says he has no choice and this is the greatest feeling in the world to be World Champion. Allin then says it’s hair against title. Allin then says MJF is the most vain man in the world. Allin then tells Mike Bailey he will do whatever it takes.

Tommaso Ciampa then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Mark Briscoe follows.

Anything Goes Match: “The Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa vs. The Conglomeration’s Mark Briscoe

The match starts off with Briscoe coming out with a garbage can and a kendo stick. Ciampa then hits a right hand. Ciampa then goes to the outside of the ring and he grabs a mouse trap, but the mouse trap gets on his hand. Briscoe then goes to the outside and he hits Ciampa with a right hand. Briscoe then grabs a broom and he breaks it across Ciampa’s back. Briscoe then pulls a table from under the ring and he places it at ringside. Briscoe then gets on the ring apron and he hits a cannonball onto Ciampa. Briscoe then grabs a metal chain and he chokes Ciampa with it. Briscoe then places Ciampa on the table and he climbs the top rope, but Ciampa hits a right hand. Ciampa then places the chain around Briscoe’s neck and he pulls Briscoe crashing through the table.

Ciampa then sends Briscoe back into the ring. Ciampa then grabs a cheese grater and he grates Briscoe’s forehead with it. Briscoe then begins to bleed from his forehead. Briscoe then pulls a table from under the ring. Briscoe then grabs a garbage can and gets barbed wire. Briscoe then begins to staple the barbed wire onto the table. Ciampa then throws the garbage can onto Briscoe. Ciampa then grabs a paper from the announce desk and he staples it into Briscoe’s forehead. He then sends Briscoe back into the ring. Ciampa then grabs a knee pad with thumbtacks on it. He then runs towards Briscoe, but Briscoe trips him and Ciampa hits a ladder that is placed in the corner.

Briscoe then grabs a screwdriver and he stabs Ciampa with it. Ciampa is now bleeding from the his forehead. Briscoe then grabs Ciampa, but Ciampa hits a right hand. Ciampa then suplexes Briscoe onto the ladder. He then goes for a cover, but Briscoe kicks out. Ciampa then hits Briscoe with a knee to the face with the thumbtacks. Ciampa then places two chairs and he places Briscoe on the top rope. Ciampa then gets on the second rope and he lifts Briscoe up, but Briscoe lands on his feet. Briscoe then hits a right hand and he places Ciampa on the top rope. Briscoe then throws Ciampa onto the two chairs. Ciampa then rolls onto the ring apron. Briscoe then piledrives Ciampa onto the table with the barbed wire on the outside of the ring. Briscoe then sends Ciampa back into the ring. Briscoe then climbs the top rope and he hits a Froggy Bow for the win.

Tony Schiavone is now in the ring and Prince Nana makes his way out. Nana then insults Schiavone and Schiavone leaves the ring. Nana then introduces Swerve Strickland. As Strickland is making his way down to the ring, Bandido hits him from behind. Bandido then sends Strickland into the barricade. Bandido then gets in the ring and hits a splash onto Strickland on the outside of the ring. He then sends Strickland into the ring steps. Nana then grabs a steel chair, but Bandido hits him with a right hand. Strickland then kicks Bandido on his leg. He then sends Bandido in the ring and Strickland grabs a steel chair. Strickland then grabs Bandido, but Bandido hits a right hand. Bandido then gorilla press slams Strickland. Bandido then grabs a steel chair, but Strickland rolls to the outside of the ring.

We then see AEW TBS Champion Willow Nightingale talk about her time as TBS Champion and how she will step up to anyone who does the same. Nightingale then says that she injured her shoulder. Nightingale then says she will pull out of the Owen Hart Tournament and she has to relinquish the TBS Title. Nightingale then says she doesn’t know when she’ll be back, but she will and she will return right to the top.

Jon Moxley then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Kyle O’Reilly follows.

AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match: The Death Riders’ AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley vs. AEW World Trios Champion The Conglomeration’s Kyle O’Reilly

The match starts off with Moxley hitting a head lock take down, but O’Reilly gets out of it. O’Reilly then cinches in a head lock, but Moxley applies a leg scissor. O’Reilly then gets out of it. Moxley then hits a chop to the chest and he follows it up with right hands. O’Reilly then hits right hands of his own and a snap suplex. He then goes for a cover, but Moxley kicks out. O’Reilly then hits a right hand, but Moxley hits a right hand and O’Reilly falls to the mat. Moxley then hits a thumb to the eye and he follows it up with right hands. Moxley then runs towards O’Reilly, but O’Reilly sends him to the outside of the ring. O’Reilly then goes to the ropes, but he stops in pain. Moxley then gets back in the ring and Moxley hits a boot to the face.

O’Reilly then starts to turn things around as he goes for an ankle lock on Moxley, but Moxley manages to break free, leaving the ring for a breather. O’Reilly then pursues him and they trade kicks before taking each other to the floor. The referee begins the count before both men end up back in the ring, taking their fight to the corner where Moxley takes a bite out of O’Reilly and digs into his back. Moxley then brings O’Reilly to the mat before setting up for a bulldog choke, but O’Reilly rolls through and he goes for a cross arm breaker on Moxley. He then transitions to an ankle lock, but Moxley forces him to the mat to counter with a bulldog choke once again. O’Reilly then struggles as he crawls to the ropes, forcing a break.

Moxley then places O’Reilly to the apron for a piledriver, but O’Reilly breaks free and pulls him to the floor. He then brings Moxley back into the ring and goes for a choke of his own before Moxley fights to his feet, only for O’Reilly to hit an exploder sending Moxley to the canvas. Both men are back to their feet as O’Reilly hits a kick sending Moxley back down, but he’s struggling to get up as well as the referee starts a standing count. Both men then make it back up and trade punches as we get the one minute warning. Moxley then goes for a stomp but O’Reilly grabs his ankle, spinning through for an ankle lock. He then locks in a grapevine and Moxley is trapped in the middle of the ring as he fights the urge to tap. He holds on just long enough for the time limit to expire and after the bell rings we get the announcement that O’Reilly surviving the time limit means he has earned a shot at the Continental Championship.

The winner of the AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match, AEW World Trios Champion The Conglomeration’s Kyle O’Reilly!

After the match, O’Reilly looks less than pleased by what happened and he grabs a microphone to say he didn’t survive a damn thing. O’Reilly then says he knows he can beat Moxley considering he’s made him tapped out before. O’Reilly then says his title match will have no time limit before telling Moxley he’s out of luck.

We then head to the back, we hear from Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida who address the news about Willow Nightingale. They talk about keeping their eyes on the entire women’s division as one of them will be champion after Double Or Nothing and will be ready for whoever wins the Owen Hart Tournament and becomes number one contender.

RUSH then cuts a promo and says he wants the AEW World Championship.

Athena and Triangle of Madness then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Thunder Rosa, Mina Shirakawa and The Brawling Birds follow.

8-Woman Tag Team Match: ROH Women’s World Champion “The Fallen Goddess” Athena and Triangle of Madness (AEW Women’s World Champion “The Toxic Spider” Thekla, Julia Hart and Skye Blue) vs. “La Mera Mera” Thunder Rosa, Mina Shirakawa and The Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor)

The match starts off with Rosa and Athena and both women trade offense culminating in a springboard cross body by Rosa for a two count. She then takes Athena to the corner for a tag to Windsor and she lays it into Athena before a tag is made to Skye Blue. She then takes advantage of a slip between The Brawling Birds on a tag and she gets a near fall off a sunset flip. Tags are then made to Thekla and Shirakawa and Shirakawa takes the fight to Thekla for a torneo and a two count. She then shimmies for the crowd and they show their appreciation. Chaos has now broken out in the ring as Athena clears the apron before hitting a shot on Shirakawa for a cradle and a two count.

A tag is then made to Rosa, who goes after Blue when she tags in. Rosa then hits a clothesline in the corner and she follows it up with a double stomp on Blue. Blue then moves away from the corner but gets caught with a dropkick in the ropes by Rosa, only for Athena to come in off and clear things out. She then goes for a dive to the outside but is intercepted by Shirakawa, who ends up hitting a DDT sending her to the floor instead. Back in the ring, Thekla tags herself in before leaving the ring. This then seems to add some confusion to the mix as The Brawling Birds go after Blue, not realizing that Thekla is innocent and she takes advantage of the situation with some black mist on Rosa for a roll up and the win.

After the match, Athena and Triangle of Madness celebrate their win.

We then get a graphic for the Owen Hart Tournament Match between Mina Shirakawa and Athena for Double or Nothing.

We then head to the back, where Kevin Knight hypes up Mike Bailey ahead of the AEW World Championship match against Darby Allin. Knight then tells Bailey not to forget the little people as he would love another crack at the title should Bailey win it.

We then see Renee Paquette trying to talk to Jon Moxley about his match tonight as he and The Death Riders do some pushups. Moxley then gets up to say he doesn’t sweat the small stuff, thanking Kyle O’Reilly for pushing him and making him crazy as he can’t seem to beat O’Reilly. Moxley then says O’Reilly has tapped him twice, but what are the odds he can do it a third time. Moxley then says this time the house finally wins and Game 7 is the only game that matters. Moxley then says when everything is on the line and he asks The Death Riders if he misses before walking off.

“Speedball” Mike Bailey then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Darby Allin follows. MJF’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring to a big pop and with plenty of pyro as he walks over to commentary.

AEW World Championship Match: Darby Allin (c) vs. JetSpeed’s “Speedball” Mike Bailey

The match starts off with Bailey catches Allin off guard, sending him into the corner before hitting a hard kick. Allin then manages to avoid the path of an Ultima Weapon, but is swept off his feet onto the apron before landing on the floor outside. Bailey then hits a triangle moonsault and he follows it up with a few shots on Allin before sending him into the ring steps for more damage. Bailey then keeps on the attack with some clubbing forearms to the back against the barricade, only for Allin to trip him up at the last second. Allin then steps onto the barricade, setting Bailey up for a Scorpion Death Drop that sends Bailey down hard.

Both men are fighting it out on the outside until Allin is knocked down. This doesn’t last long as he slides back into the ring, building up speed for a dive that sends Bailey into the announce desk. Allin then brings Bailey back into the ring, but Bailey dodges a Coffin Drop to stay in this. Allin then heads to the corner but is caught with a kick by Bailey, only for Allin to dodge an Ultima Weapon. He then climbs up top and hits a Coffin Drop. Allin then goes for a cover, but MJF gets Bailey’s foot on the bottom rope to break the pin. The referee then catches this and has words with MJF as Knight comes running down the ramp to confront MJF. Allin’s distraction by this allows him to get cradled for a two count, countering out before Bailey hits a straightjacket sunset flip for a near fall. He then follows it up with a hard kick to Allin, but this only gets a two as well.

Bailey then hits a standing moonsault into a double knee and after Allin gets up he is sent to the corner with a superkick by Bailey. Both men then fight for position for near falls on both sides before Allin hits another Scorpion Death Drop for another two count. Allin then sets Bailey up for a Scorpion Deathlock as Bailey struggles for a way out. He then crawls to the ropes to force a break, only for Allin to go up top for a Coffin Drop. This then breaks him away from the ropes, allowing Allin to cinch in another Scorpion Deathlock. Bailey then inches toward the ropes with Knight willing him on, but it’s not enough as Bailey ends up tapping out.

The winner and still the AEW World Champion, Darby Allin!

After the match, Allin is presented with the title but he is barely moving. Knight is in the ring and he tells Bailey that he is proud of him. Knight then tells Allin that he comes out week after week and defends the title like no other champion. Knight then tells Allin he wants to see MJF get his head shaved bald. As Knight and Bailey walk off, MJF sneaks through the crowd and takes out Allin, attacking him in the ring. MJF then pounds on the head of Allin and jaws at the crowd. MJF then grabs the title as the fans chant ‘Bald’. MJF then holds up the title and says three times and he puts his watch at commentary desk with Taz. MJF then goes under the ring and grabs some hair clippers. MJF then grabs Allin, but Allin fights off MJF and tries to buzz his hair and MJF escapes and rolls out of the ring. Allin then holds up the clippers and MJF screams that the world title is his belt.

Commentary then runs down the card for Double or Nothing.

We then head to the back, where The Death Riders is hyping up Will Ospreay.

Will Ospreay then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Katsuyori Shibata follows.

Singles Match: The Opps’ “The Wrestler” Katsuyori Shibata vs. “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay

The match starts off with Shibata going right to an armbar on Ospreay, but he breaks the hold by making it to the bottom rope. Both men are now up as Shibata wants a handshake. Ospreay then takes Shibata down by grabbing the left ankle and bending it. Shibata then breaks the hold and flips over. The action then goes to the apron. Shibata then suplexes Ospreay on the apron as both men hit the floor. Shibata then suplexes Ospreay on the floor. Shibata then grabs Ospreay and sets him up on a chair. Shibata then kicks Ospreay in the face. Shibata then rolls Ospreay back in the ring as he lays big forearms into his head. Ospreay then reverses it, but Shibata comes back. Ospreay then hits a high boot on Shibata, who rolls to the floor. Ospreay then leaps over the ropes, landing on Shibata.

Shibata then chops Ospreay, but he comes back and takes down Shibata. The referee then begins a ten count. Ospreay then grabs Shibata and drops him again. Ospreay is on the apron now and he takes flight, hitting a big forearm on Shibata. Ospreay then covers Shibata, but Shibata kicks out at two. Ospreay then kicks Shibata in the head. Shibata then comes back grabbing Ospreay, who breaks the hold by backing up to the corner. Shibata then hits a drop kick on Ospreay and covers him for only a two count. Ospreay then kicks Shibata in the back of the head. Ospreay then hits an elbow strike on Shibata and follows it up with a falcon arrow.

Ospreay then covers Shibata for only a two count. Ospreay then comes off the top, hitting Shibata. Anthony Bowens then distracts Ospreay, allowing Shibata to nail Ospreay. We then get a standoff with The Opps and The Death Riders. Marina Shafir then sends Bowens away. Ospreay then has Shibata up and he hits a Styles Clash. Ospreay then hits Shibata with a hidden blade and covers him for the win.

After the match, Samoa Joe comes out with a mic. Joe says Will and his friends coming to the rescue again. Joe then says he is here now because of his friend Shibata. Joe then says you chose not to be my friend and you will pay the consequences. Joe then says he will give Ospreay his dream match and will put him to sleep. Ospreay then says this is a dream come true. Ospreay then says his nightmare situation is that people are doubting him post injury. Ospreay then says 10 years ago this surgery would have ended his career. Ospreay then asks Joe how he is going to kill a guy who’s already died in the ring. Ospreay then says this year the stakes for the Owen are high. Ospreay then says the winner gets to wrestle in Wembley. Ospreay then says it’s not just a company on my back, it’s a whole country bruv. Ospreay then says The Death Riders killed the old him and made him an assassin.

We then get a vignette of Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. Copeland talks about how he and Christian came together as friends and formed a tag team. Copeland then talks about for 30 years how he and Christian have come into the fans living rooms every week. Copeland then says he wants the best version of FTR on Sunday and make the best FTR say I Quit. Christian then says FTR has made questionable choices. He then says when you born you look like your family and when you die, you look like your choices.

RUSH then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and his opponent is already in the ring.

Singles Match: LFI’s “El Toro Blanco” RUSH vs. TJ Crawford

The match starts off with Crawford going for a handshake. RUSH then grabs it and takes down Crawford. RUSH then slaps Crawford and kicks him as he is in the corner. RUSH then runs and hits The Horns on Crawford for the win.

Divine Dominion then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and their opponents are already in the ring.

AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship 5-Minute Eliminator Match: AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions Divine Dominion (“The Megasus” Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) vs. Kayla Lopez and Elle Valentine

The match starts off with Bayne grabbing Valentine and pummeling her in the corner. Valentine then tries to hit Bayne, but it has no affect on her. Bayne then drags Valentine to the corner and hits her in the head. Kross is now in. She then hits Valentine with big elbow shots. Kross then picks up Valentine, spins her around and drops her. Kross then tosses Valentine as Lopez is tagged in and met with a kick. Bayne is then tagged in and she hits a big boot on Lopez. Kross is then tagged in. Kross and Bayne then pick up Valentine and Lopez for stereo suplexes. They then hit a double chokeslam and Kross covers Lopez for the win in under 5-minutes.

We then get a vignette hyping up the AEW World Title Match at Double or Nothing, with the stipulation that if MJF loses, he get his head shaved.

Commentary then runs down the rest of the card, including the Buy-In that will feature WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley.

The Conglomeration then make their way down to the ring for the main event of the night and FTR follow.

AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax “The Axe” Harwood) (c) vs. AEW World Trios Champions The Conglomeration (“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong)

The match starts off with FTR getting the jump on The Conglomeration. Strong then sends Wheeler to the floor, while Cassidy rolls up Harwood for a near fall. FTR are now on the floor and they head to the back, but Cassidy and Strong go after them. Strong then chops Harwood, while Cassidy comes off the top onto Wheeler. Strong and Harwood are in the ring. Strong then chops Harwood. Strong then picks up Harwood and drops him on his back. Cassidy is then tagged in. Cassidy then takes off his elbow pad and attempts and Orange Punch on Harwood as FTR roll to the outside.

FTR now has Strong in a headlock and they chops him. Wheeler is then tagged in as he takes Cassidy off the apron. Both Strong and Wheeler then run the ropes, taking each other down with double lariats. Strong is now bleeding in the shin area. Cassidy is then tagged in. FTR then tries to double team Cassidy, but Strong comes in to even things out. Cassidy then sunset flips Harwood for a near fall. Harwood then goes to the floor. Cassidy then leaps through the ropes, sending Harwood into the barricade. Wheeler is then blind tagged in. Harwood then takes down Cassidy with a spinebuster as Wheeler covers him for a two count.

The referee then checks on Cassidy. Wheeler then sends Cassidy to the corner and he chops Cassidy, sending him down. Wheeler then grabs Cassidy and he cinches in a cobra clutch. Cassidy then breaks the hold as Harwood is quickly tagged in. Cassidy is on the apron as Wheeler goes for Cassidy, but crashes and burns to the floor. Harwood then piledrives Cassidy and covers him, but Cassidy kicks out at two. Wheeler is then tagged in. Cassidy then hits a boot in face of Wheeler. Strong is then tagged in. Strong then hits Harwood with an Olympic slam. Cassidy is then tagged in. Strong then uses Cassidy as a weapon on Harwood in the corner. Cassidy then DDTs Wheeler and covers him for a near fall.

Harwood then sends Strong into the ring post on the outside. Cassidy then avoids a shatter machine. Cassidy then makes a pin attempt on Wheeler, who kicks out at two. FTR then mocks Cassidy. Strong comes in and kicks Wheeler. Harwood then nails Cassidy in the jaw. Stokely is on the apron to try to distract Cassidy. He then rolls up Harwood who is now legal, but Harwood kicks out. Cassidy then goes for an orange punch, but is dropped with a shatter machine. Harwood then covers Cassidy, but Strong breaks up the pin attempt. Strong and Wheeler then spill to the outside. Cassidy then puts his hands in his pockets. Harwood is then rolled up for a near fall by Cassidy. Stoke then nails Cassidy with the stolen watch of Christian Cage as the referee does not see it. Harwood then rolls up Cassidy for the win.

The winners and still the AEW World Tag Team Champions, FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax “The Axe” Harwood)!

After the match, FTR celebrate their win with Stokely and they stand tall as the show comes to a close.
