Jon Moxley makes his way to the ring via the crowd and he still has his eye patch on. His opponent is out next but before Cobb enters the ring, the AEW Champion, Chris Jericho and The Inner Circle comes out through the crowd holding tickets to the show.

jON mOXLEY VS. JEFF COBB

The match begins and Cobb runs across the ring and hits Moxley with an overhead suplex. Moxley is whipped hard into the buckles, chest-first. Cobb beats Moxley around and puts him in a submission. Jon fights out but gets dropped with a back elbow. Cobb knocks Moxley to the apron, then tackles him off and he hits the barricade.

*Commercial Break*

Back live and Moxley gets Cobb hung up in the ropes and dropkicks his knee. Moxley drags Cobb under the bottom rope and whips his knee into the ring post over and over. Moxley gets back in the ring but Cobb hits him with a swinging back suplex. He goes for the pin but stops it himself and headbutt’s Moxley.

Moxley takes a sleeper but Cobb backs him into the turnbuckles to break free. Moxley takes a kneebar but Cobb reaches the ropes and rolls from the ring. Moxley climbs to the top rope and jumps at Cobb but gets caught and tossed with a belly-to-belly suplex. Back in the ring, Cobb hits a powerslam for a two-count.

Moxley makes a comeback with some forearms and kene strikess, followed by a lariat. They trade shots and Moxley hits a lariat but Cobb doesn’t move, then he drops Jon with a clothesline. Moxley looked for the Paradigm Shift but got shoved into the corner and dropped with a European uppercut. Cobb takes Moxley to the top rope and hits a superplex but Jon immediately rolls him up for the win!

Winner: Jon Moxley

The Inner Circle storm the ring and beat on Moxley until Dustin Rhodes comes down and he starts clearing the ring until the numbers catch up with him. Suddenly the lights go out in the arena and Darby Allin comes out.

He skateboards to the ring and attacks The Inner Circe with his skateboard. Rhodes clotheslines Hager to the outside and Darby hits a kick-flip on the back of Guevara. Cobb grabbed Darby and hits a release German suplex but Allin landed on his feet and hit him with the skateboard, allowing Moxley to hit a Paradigm Shift. Darby leaves the ring and tosses Sammy into the steel steps, then Jericho winds-up back in the ring. and trading hadns with Moxley. Jericho narrowly avoids a Paradigm Shift and retreats up the ramp.

AEW Tag Team Championships

(C) ‘Hangman’ Adam Page & Kenny Omega Vs. The Lucha Bros

The match begins with Page and Fenix, who come face-to-face. Fenix jabs Page a few times, then slides under a big boot and humps for a hurricanrana but gets thrown off and kicked. Page sends Fenix to his corner and tags Kenny Omega.

Omega and Page hit a big boot/Kotaro Crusher for a two-count. Omega lifts Fenix for a backbreaker and another two-count. Omega tags Page, who kicks the mid-section of Fenix, but the lucha fires back with chops. That angers Page and he slaps the chest of Fenix, before hitting a fallaway slam pin but Pentagon Jr. runs in and stomps Page to break it.

Page tags Omega, who just tossed Pentagon from the ring, and they team to hit a shooting star/moonsault combo to Fenix, then Page clotheslines Pentagon from the apron. Pentagon runs into the ring and teams with Fenix to chop Omega and Page in the corners, then hit a hurricanrana and an enziguiri. Fenix monkey flips Pentagon into Omega in the corner, then he hits a running dropkick.

*Commercial Break*

Back live and The Lucha Bros are in charge of Kenny Omega, with Page down on the outside. Kenny creates some distance against Pentagon and tags Page, who drops Pentagon for a near-fall and immediately tags Omega again.

Page and Omega team to hit a sling-blade and German suplex but Kenny then throws Fenix up in the air and he hits Page with a cutter. Pentagon dives over Page and hits Omega with a destroyer and all four men are down. Omega and Pentagon wind-up on the apron trading shots. Fenix attacks Omega, and Pentagon looks for the package piledriver but Kenny escapes.

Fenix leaps over the ropes and hits Omega with a hurricanrana from the apron to the floor. Page then wipes out Pentagon on the floor with a moonsault from the top rope. Page gets Pentagon back in the ring and hits a discus clothesline for a near-fall and he tags Omega. Pentagon hits a slingblade to Page, then Fenix drops Kenny.

Page counters Pentagon with a pop-up powerbomb and Omega hits a V-Trigger. As per usual, Page inadvertently hits Omega with a Buckshot Lariat, allowing Pentagon and Fenix to team on Kenny for a super near-fall. The Lucha’s look for the package piledriver but Kenny hits the snap dragon suplex, then hits Fenix with a V-Trigger. Kenny hits a tiger driver ’98 for a near-fall. Omega looks for the One Winged Angel but Fenix counters him. Page blind-tags in and hits a Buckshot/V-Trigger combo for the win!

Winners: ‘Hangman’ Adam Page and Kenny Omega

After the match the Young Bucks comes own and check on Omega and Page leaves the ring to drink beer.

*Commercial Break*

It’s main event time and it’s a cage match between Cody and MJF. Interestingly, the only way to win is by pinfall or submission. Escaping the cage does not win the match so there’s no reason to do so.

Steel Cage

Cody W/ARN ANDERSON & BRANDI RHODES Vs. Wardlow W/MJF

The bell rings, and the crowd is all behind Cody, who starts by kicking Wardlow in the face. Cody applies a waistlock and applies a side headlock, but Wardlow pushes him off and poses. Cody hits the ropes, goes under Wardlow, and hits a Rhodes uppercut. It’s been all Cody so far.

Wardlow knocks him back and puts him on his shoulder, but Cody slides off and hits a Disaster Kick. Cody hits the ropes, but Wardlow turns him inside out with a clothesline. MJF is happy with the results. Wardlow sends Cody into the cage wall as we head to the break.

*Commercial Break*

Back live and Cody is bleeding like a stuffed pig.  Wardlow hits him with a suplex but then Cody comes back with a suple of his own and a cutter. Cody puts Wardlow in the corner and delivers ten punches. Wardlow strikes back with a low blow, which is perfectly legal. Wardlow hits the “F10″but doesn’t go for the cover.

Wardlow grates Cody’s faces against the cage and he screams. Wardlow then sends Cody into the cage door and it busts open. Anderson grabs hold of the cage door and MJF tries to convince him to smash it in Cody’s face but Arn swings it and hits MJF! Cody starts to make a comeback and sends Wardlow into the cage, followed by a powerslam for a two-count.

Wardlow gets back on top and sends Cody into the cage. Wardlow then climbs the ropes and hits a senton for a near-fall. MJF calls Wardlow over and hands him the Diamond Dozen ring. He swings but Cody delivers a low-blow. Meanwile MJF climbs up the side of the cage and screams at Wardlow. Brandi whacks MJF in the back with a chair and he climbs down and gets in her face but Arn grabs him and throws him into the crowd!

Meanwhile in the ring, Cody hits Wardlow with a Cross Rhodes but he kicks out! Cody then gets to his feet and stares up. He takes his belt off and points a kiss to the sky. He then climbs the cage and hits a moonsault to Wardlow in the ring and scores the pinfall!

Winner: Cody

After the match, Cody takes to the top of the cage and poses while his music plays and Brandi comes into the ring. MJF sits on the ramp and looks petrified as Cody points at him from atop the cage.

And that’s it for this week’s AEW Dynamite. Cody will face MJF in two weeks at Revolution but next week Kenny Omega goes one-on-one with PAC. We’ll be back here tomorrow with all your wrestling news and results. Until then, safe travels!
