AEW Collision Results (6/6/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness welcoming us and they run down the card for tonight’s Collision. Tay Melo and Anna Jay then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Megan Bayne and Lena Kross follow.

AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Match: Divine Dominion (“The Megasus” Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) (c) vs. TayJay (Tay Melo and Anna Jay)

The match starts off with Anna Jay and Megan Bayne and Bayne dominates Jay early on, but Jay is able to escape Divine Dominion’s double chokeslam and tag out to Melo. TayJay then takes out a legal Lena Kross with a big knee from Melo, nearly earning them the tag team titles. TayJay then counters a double suplex spot, locking both Bayne and Kross down with a couple of guillotines. After sending Divine Dominion to the floor, TayJay follows it up with a couple of diving cross bodies. Jay has taken a ton of punishment from Bayne and Kross. Kross then misses a splash in the corner and Jay hits her with a springboard bulldog to allow her to tag out to Melo.

Melo then hits Bayne with several knees and big boots. Jay then hits Bayne with a Hammerlock DDT for a near fall. Jay then cinches in the Queenslayer on Kross, but Bayne breaks it up. Melo then takes Bayne to the floor as Jay cinches in the Queenslayer once again on Kross. Kross then stands out of the Queenslayer just as Melo is launched into the barricade. Bayne then tags in and she hits the Divine Intervention on Jay for the win.

After the match, Melo is upset at the loss.

We then get a video package hyping up the Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Matches and a video package looking at the Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Match between Swerve Strickland and Brody King.

We then head to the back, where we see Jake Doyle and Lance Archer attacking random people while RPG Vice mock Konosuke Takeshita, who they kicked out of the Don Callis Family. They then claim that Takeshita couldn’t speak English and that he was a terrible person. They then talk about how they replaced him with Kevin Knight, which they say will be much better. The Kevin Knight addition angered a lot of fans on Wednesday.

Shane Taylor then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night with Shane Taylor Promotions and Alan Angels is already in the ring.

Singles Match: Shane Taylor Promotions’ Shane Taylor vs. Alan Angels

The match starts off with Taylor hitting Angels with strikes. Angels then tries to fight back, but Taylor comes back. Angels then kicks Taylor in the mid-section, but Taylor knocks him in the face with a big punch and picks him up and slam him down for the win.

After the match, Taylor grabs a mic and talks about how the Death Riders have been one of the most dangerous factions in AEW and how all of this changes right now. Taylor then says Shane Taylor Promotions will be the most violent group in AEW. Taylor then calls on Jon Moxley and the rest of the Death Riders to see if they can rumble.

The music of the Death Riders then hit as they are shown outsider near the parking lot and walking into the building and through the crowd to a big ovation for the next match of the night. Shane Taylor is on commentary for this match.

Trios Match: The Death Riders (AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and “The Bastard” PAC) vs. Shane Taylor Promotions (ROH Pure Champion “TAIGASTYLE” Lee Moriarty, “The Captain” Shawn Dean and “Tattoos & Bad News) Carlie Bravo)

The match starts off with Moxley and Moriarty and both men lock up as Moxley grabs the arm of Moriarty, who breaks the hold. Moxley and Moriarty then lock up again as Moriarty grabs the arm of Moxley. Moriarty then holds on and Moxley eventually breaks the hold and chops Moriarty. Moxley is then sent to the corner of STP. Carlie Bravo is then tagged in. Bravo then chops and jabs Moxley in the corner. Moxley then fires back, but Bravo comes back. Moxley then gets fired up and lays big rights into Bravo as the fans go crazy. Moxley then thumbs the eye of Bravo. Moxley then locks up the arm of Bravo and tags in PAC. Moxley then bites the hand of Bravo. PAC then slams down Bravo and covers him for a two count.

Castagnoli is then tagged in. Castagnoli then grabs Bravo, picks him up and slams him. Castagnoli then covers Bravo for only a two count. Castagnoli then hits Bravo with a big uppercut. Castagnoli then works on Bravo in the corner with more uppercuts. Castagnoli then grabs Bravo as we get a brawl inside and outside the ring. Moxley and Castagnoli then hype up the crowd while PAC is worked over by Dean. They then lay waste to PAC in the corner with a series of running strikes and Dean hits a Bronco Buster while shouting “BBC!!” PAC then finally gets to his corner after a German suplex sends Bravo overhead. Castagnoli then hammers Bravo with repeated uppercuts and forearms and follows it up with an Iconoclasm.

Bravo then drags himself to the ropes to avoid the Giant Swing, but it’s all for naught. Castagnoli and Moxley then hit a Giant Swing/dropkick combination and Moxley hits Moriarty with a cutter. Shane Taylor then crotches PAC in the corner as one of the STP members distracts the referee. Trish Adora then grabs a chair to hit PAC, but Marina Shafir comes in and takes her out. Castagnoli then holds Bravo for PAC’s full-speed lariat and PAC puts him in the Brutalizer for the win.

We then get a video package recapping this past Wednesday’s Dynamite.

Tommaso Ciampa then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and his opponent BEEF is already in the ring.

Singles Match: “The Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa vs. BEEF

The match starts off with a test of strength and Ciampa kicks BEEF. BEEF then fights back with a dropkick. BEEF then charges in for a clothesline in the corner and he sends him across and hits another one. A Bulldog is then blocked by Ciampa, who hits a knee and a charging exposed knee. Ciampa then cinches in the Walls of Ciampa for the win.

After the match, Ciampa attacks BEEF. Ciampa then demands that Tony Schiavone tell the world that he is better than Jericho or he won’t let the hold go. Schiavone then obliges and Ciampa calls out Jericho again.
