Tonight’s episode of AEW Collision, airing April 17, 2025, promises an action-packed night live from the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, Massachusetts. The Spring BreakThru show sees ROH World TV Champion Komander defend his title against The Patriarchy’s Nick Wayne. Plus, AEW TBS Champion “The CEO” Mercedes Moné and Harley Cameron takes on Hounds of Hell’s Julia Hart and Kris Statlander in a Tag Team Match, with AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm on commentary.

The show opens up with Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness welcoming us from the state area. Schiavone and McGuinness then recap last night’s Dynamite, which was the 289th episode that passed WCW Nitro as the longest-running pro wrestling show on the Turner Networks.
Schiavone and McGuinness then ran through the Collision lineup before they were interrupted. Marina Shafir brings a woman onto the stage and sends her to the floor. Shafir then enters the ring and takes a mic from ring announcer Arkady Aura. AEW World Champion Jon Moxley then joins Shafir inside the ring, while Claudio Castagnoli beats up a cameraman and breaks the camera. Wheeler Yuta then throws a chair and jaws with fans at ringside. The crowd then chants “you tapped out” at Moxley, who takes the mic and says everyone who celebrated in the ring last night should enjoy it because it’s the last chance they’ll have to celebrate for a long time. Moxley then says he decided that he doesn’t like The Young Bucks and tells them to stay in their own lane or he will make sure they are never seen in the business again.
Moxley then says when he started in this business there was only one bad man in pro wrestling and that person is Samoa Joe. Moxley then says he has always respected Joe and the fans chant Joe is going to kill you. Moxley then says he will not hide and will fight him to the death for the championship tomorrow and doesn’t know any other way. Moxley then says he is challenging Joe. Moxley then says that is all he has to say as he knows exactly what he is dealing with. Moxley then drops the mic and exits through the crowd along with the rest of his crew. As The Death Riders leave, Yuta tosses around more equipment at ringside.
Schiavone and McGuinness then run through the lineup for tonight’s show once again and Kevin Knight makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night. Lance Archer makes his way down to the ring next with Don Callis and immediately attacks Knight, sending him out to the ramp
The match starts off with Archer slamming Knight’s head against one of the big screens on the stage. Archer then tosses Knight down the ramp-way. Archer then picks up Knight, but Knight counters and kicks Archer in the head with a shotgun drop kick from the top rope. Knight then leaps over the ropes, taking down Archer. Knight then comes off the top as Archer catches him, but Knight sends him into the corner and nails him in the chin and mid-section. Archer then recovers and sends Knight down with a big lariat. Archer then lays big rights into Knight as he is down on the mat. Archer then pounds on the back of Knight. Knight then runs the ropes, sending Archer down and then hits a big running elbow, sending Archer to the floor. Knight then goes to the top, but Callis grabs his leg. Archer then grabs Knight, pulling him out of the ring and sending him head first into the steel steps.
Archer is control in the ring, sending Knight down. Archer then slaps Knight, who tries to fight back with a big forearm. Archer then comes back and hits Knight, sending him on his back. Knight then rolls up Archer, but Archer kicks out. Archer then picks up Knight and suplexes him hard to the mat. Archer then picks up Knight and puts him on the top rope. Archer then picks up Knight, who counters out of the hold, but Archer escapes a possible chokehold. Knight then runs at Archer and gets met with a big boot to the chest, hitting the mat.
Both men are on the second rope as Knight then sends Archer to the mat. Knight then hits Archer with a UFO. Knight then covers Archer for only a two count. Archer then picks up Knight and drops him with a huge chokeslam. Archer then covers Knight, but Knight kicks out at two as the fans chant Kevin. Archer is up on the ropes as Knight kicks him off, sending him to the floor. Knight then leaps over the ropes and hits Archer with a flying lariat! Archer is back in the ring as Knight comes off the top rope again and lands on Archer for the win.

We then get video footage from after Dynamite of new AEW World Trios Champions The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata) speaking backstage. Joe says they are men who commit violence. Joe then says they are the AEW World Trios Champions and they are coming for so much more.
We then get a brief Will Ospreay narrated ad for AEW All In: Texas.
We then see Renee Paquette interviewing Jamie Hayter and Kris Statlander about meeting for the first time in the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament Semifinals on Dynamite. Hayter says she knows Statlander is good just as Statlander knows she is good. Statlander then says it’s been a long time coming and the person who wins better go all the way.
We then see Tony Schiavone standing behind his desk and reading a letter from FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) that the live crowd could hear. The letter apologizes and says the one-week suspension isn’t enough and claims they will not have gone through with the piledriver on Schiavone. They also apologize for what happened with McGuinness while adding that he has a fragile mind and body.
We then get video footage from after Dynamite of Don Callis saying he is so happy to have Josh Alexander in his family, while the other members stand by and appear to be happy with the move. Josh Alexander and Konosuke Takeshita then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Tomohiro Ishii and Rocky Romero follow.
The match starts out with both Ishii and Takeshita hitting each other with big forearm shots. Ishii then picks up Takeshita, but Takeshita fights it off. Both men then run the ropes as Ishii takes down Takeshita with a big shoulder tackle that sends Ishii down as well. Alexander and Romero are now tagged in. Alexander then sends Romero down. Alexander then sends Romero to the ropes, but Romero comes back sending Alexander down. Romero then charges at Alexander, but Alexander ducks and Romero lands on the apron, only to be nailed by Takeshita.
Takeshita then suplexes Romero. Alexander and Ishii are now tagged in. Ishii then sends Alexander on his head and covers him for only a two count. Ishii then nails Takeshita, who comes in and kicks Ishii, sending him down with a big lariat. Romero then comes in and sends Alexander down. Ishii then hits a big lariat on Alexander. Alexander then picks up Ishii and slams him down, then covers him for only a two count. Alexander then applies the ankle lock on Ishii. Romero then comes in to break the hold with a big cross body off the ropes.
Alexander is now nailed by Romero with elbow shots, but Alexander comes back. Ishii then accidentally hits Romero as Alexander suplexes Ishii, but he comes back with a big headbutt to the jaw of Alexander as both men go down. Romero then trips Ishii in the ring as Alexander German Suplexes Ishii. Both Takeshita and Alexander then nail Ishii as Alexander picks up Ishii and slams him down and covers him for the win.

After the match, the fans chant Rocky sucks and boo him. Ishii then shoves him. Rocky then attacks Ishii from behind. A hooded figure then appears in the ring and its Trent Beretta. Romero then attacks Ishii from behind. Callis, Takeshita and Alexander then return to the ring. Callis then hands Trent a wrench and he nails Ishii in the back of the head. Callis then holds up the arms of Beretta and Romero.
We then head to the back, where Lexy Nair is talking to Mercedes Moné about her win over Athena, but she is interrupted by Harley Cameron and the Mercedes puppet. Moné then tells Cameron to stay out of the way and stop being such a loser.
We then get an ad for AEW Double Or Nothing, which will be held on Sunday, May 25.
Megan Bayne then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night and her opponents are already in the ring.
The match starts off with Bayne suplexing both women at the same time. Bayne then picks up Ashley Vox and powerbombs her three times. Bayne then takes down the other opponent with a big clothesline. Bayne then picks up one of the women and slams her down for the win.

After the match, Bayne picks up both women, screams and slams them down to the ring.
We then get a video vignette on Anthony Bowens. Bowens talks about being the perfect combination of power, athleticism and intelligence. Bowens then says he has the look and the It Factor. Bowens then says he’s led by a Badass. Bowens then asks who is ready to step up to face the 5 Tool Player.
Adam Cole then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Claudio Castagnoli’s music hits. We then go the concession area, showing Claudio on the steps and walking through the crowd and down to the ring. Claudio then tosses a chair at Nigel McGuinness, hitting him in the knee.
The match starts off with Cole taking it to Claudio, who fights back and sends Cole down with a big boot. Cole then comes back and sends Claudio down with a neck breaker and covers him with only a one count. Cole then hits Claudio with big punches. Cole then sends Claudio down with a big running knee. Claudio then rolls to the floor. Claudio then walks over and grabs the legs of Cole, dragging him to the floor. Claudio then charges at Cole, but Cole moves out of the way.
Both men then exchange forearms shots near the announce desk. Claudio then picks up Cole and drops him back first on the barricade. Claudio then hits the ring to break the ten count. Claudio then comes back in and picks up Cole and tosses him over the barricade and into the crowd. The referee then checks on Cole, who makes his way back into the ring. Claudio then covers Cole for only a two count. Claudio then sends Cole back to the floor.
Cole then backslides Claudio for a pin attempt, but Claudio kicks out at two. Cole then comes back and sends Claudio down with a big boot. Both men then go down as the referee starts the ten count. Both men are up as Cole takes down Claudio with a backstabber. Cole then covers Claudio and Claudio kicks out at two. Cole then goes on the middle rope and comes down for a Panama Sunrise, but Claudio counters and sends Cole down with a massive lariat. Cole then hits Claudio with a thrust kick and picks him up and hits him with a big neck breaker. Cole then covers Claudio for only a two count. Claudio then hits Cole with the giant swing. Claudio then applies the cross face on Cole, who then rolls up Claudio for only a two count.
Claudio is up on the top rope and comes down only to be met with a big boot. Cole then covers Claudio for only a two count. Cole then goes for the Boom, but Claudio stops it and picks up Cole and nails him with a big uppercut. Claudio then covers Cole, but Cole kicks out at two. Claudio then nails Cole with big elbows. Cole is up as Claudio beats Cole back down in the corner. The referee then tells Claudio to back up, but Claudio nails Cole again in the corner with several jabs. Claudio then picks up Cole and superplexes him. Claudio then goes to pick up Cole, but Cole rolls him up with the crucifix for the win.

After the match, Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly made their way out to celebrate with Cole. Claudio is angry and he goes over and destroys the announce desk. Moxley and Yuta then come out and try to calm Claudio down. Marina Shafir then comes out as well as the fans chant loser at Claudio. The Death Riders then leave through the crowd.
We then get a recap of The Learning Tree segment from Dynamite two weeks ago. Lexy Nair is backstage with Big Bill and Bryan Keith. Bill says that he is getting angry. Keith then interrupts Bill and says not right now and the talk they had was private. Keith then says they should handle things like family internally. Keith then blames Bill for Chris Jericho walking out. Bill then says the strategy moving forward is the same.
La Facción Ingobernable then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and their opponents are already in the ring.
The match starts off with the action all over the place outside the ring. Mortos then picks up LSG and drops him and KM is in. Dralistico then kicks him in the head. RUSH then nails all three men with running forearms. Dralistico then takes out LSG and on the floor. In the ring, Rush nails KM with a big forearm and covers him for the win.

We then head to the back, where Renee Paquette is having a conversation with Kevin Knight and Mike Bailey. Ricochet then comes in and complains about how Bailey and Knight stole the $400,000 from him. Bailey then says his team beat Ricochet’s team fair and square. Ricochet then says he will give them veteran advice. Ricochet then tells them not to upset the top talent or mess with the chain of command. Knight then says there’s something he can do that Ricochet can’t do. Knight then shakes his hair. Ricochet then gets upset. Knight then acts like he was going to slap Ricochet, who flinches. Knight is willing to fight, but Bailey says they will go, but just not today. Paquette then does a hair toss and walks away.
Nick Wayne then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Komander follows.
The match starts off with Wayne slapping Komander as he comes back with a big drop kick. Komander then kicks Wayne in the mid-section. Komander is up on the ropes and he takes down Wayne. Komander then kicks Wayne, sending him down again. Komander then goes to the top and hits Wayne with a big cross body and a drop kick. Wayne then goes to the outside and sends Komander down to the mat. Wayne then sends Komander to the corner and slaps Komander. As Komander goes to the top, Wayne pushes him to the floor.
Wayne then rolls up Komander for only a two count. Komander then comes back with a spinning backbreaker on Wayne. Wayne is up on the ropes as Komander sends him to the ramp-way. Komander then leaps over the ropes as Wayne moves. Komander then rolls back in the ring and nails Wayne. Komander then covers Wayne for only a two count. Komander then picks up Wayne as we see Nick’s mom. Wayne then sends Komander into the turnbuckle pad.
Komander then sends Wayne down head first. Komander then covers Wayne for only a two count. Komander then leaps up over the ropes as Wayne catches Komander with a driving suplex. Wayne then covers Komander for only a two count. Komander then comes back and sends Wayne to the floor. Komander then goes up on the ropes and flips backwards on Wayne. Wayne is back in the ring. Komander then comes off the top as Wayne gets the boots up. Wayne then picks up Komander for a prodigy plex and covers Komander for the win.

We then get a Hologram video package and it ends with a graphic stating that he will return next week.
We then head to the back, where Top Flight and Leila Grey are cutting a promo. Top Flight then says they spoke with Tony Khan and will face Lio Rush and Action Andretti in a tornado tag match. Rush and Andretti then show up and jaws with Top Flight, but security quickly get between the two teams.
AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm then makes her way down to the ring for the main event of the night and joins the commentary desk. Kris Statlander and Julia Hart then make their way down to the ring for the main event and Mercedes Moné and Harley Cameron follow.
The match starts off with Statlander and Moné. Kris then tosses Moné and Moné tags in Cameron. Harley then tags in the Moné puppet and it gets tossed around. Statlander then rolls up Cameron for only a two count. Harley then sends Statlander to the corner. Harley then rolls up Statlander again for only a two count. Statlander then tags in Julia Hart. Hart is up on the second rope and comes down on Cameron. Hart then sends Cameron down with a big lariat to the back. Hart then covers Harley for only a two count. Cameron then makes it for a tag to Moné who comes in only to have her head slammed on the mat by Hart. Statlander is then tagged in. Statlander sends Moné to the floor with a follow away slam. All four ladies are now on the floor fighting it out.
The action is back in the ring. Moné charges at Statlander and suplexes Statlander three times. Cameron then comes in as Statlander double suplexes both women three times. Hart is then tagged in. Hart then comes off the top on Cameron as Moné picks up Hart and hangs her upside on the ropes. Cameron then comes in and takes down Hart with a blue thunder bomb. Hart then leg trips Moné.
Hart then goes to the top and comes down with a moonsault as Moné gets the boots up. Both women are down as the referee starts the ten count. Statlander is in and picks up Moné on her shoulders. Statlander then clotheslines Moné. Statlander then picks up Cameron and hits her with a back breaker, then nails her with a twisting lariat and covers her for the win.

After the match, Storm stands on the apron and applauds Statlander. Storm then blows a kiss at Statlander and falls off the apron and into the arms of Luther as the show comes to a close.
