Adam Pearce had an unusual message for fans after the April 28, 2026 episode of WWE Raw, revealing that a mystery fan attempted to deliver a personal gift to him backstage — only for arena security to turn them away.

Pearce took to Instagram on April 28 to post a video explaining the situation. According to him, he learned after the show in Laredo that someone had arrived at the back of the arena with a gift meant specifically for him. However, by the time he connected with building staff, the fan had already been turned away due to security policy. While addressing the situation, Pearce explained how he found out about the attempted delivery and why he wasn’t able to meet the fan in person.

“What's up, everybody? It's Adam. Hey, real quick. I just wanted to hop on here and say if you happen to be that special somebody that came to the back of the arena last night in Laredo with a gift for me. Thank you. I was told by one of our referees that building security was looking for me, and imagine that I was busy on a Monday.”

Pearce went on to say that after speaking directly with security staff, he learned they couldn’t hold onto the gift and had to turn the fan away — something he made clear he wasn’t happy about.

“Anyway, I went and spoke to building security, and I want to apologize. They informed me that they could not hold on to the gift, that they had to turn you away, which I think really sucks, but I wanted to just pass on my gratitude. I appreciate you thinking of me with such a thoughtful gift. You know me so well.”

Instead of letting the situation end there, Pearce offered a way for the unknown fan to reconnect with him directly. He invited the person responsible for the gift to reach out so they could try to arrange another way to deliver it.

“So do me a favor. If it's you, because I don't know who you are, shoot me an email, General.manageritisofficial.org and let's see if we can't work something out. And again, thank you for thinking of me. I appreciate you. You're very special, and that is official.”

Moments like this don’t happen every day in WWE, especially when a backstage interaction turns into a public callout on social media. Pearce’s response shows he didn’t want the fan’s effort to go unnoticed, even if security rules prevented the exchange from happening at the arena.

With WWE shows constantly moving from city to city, backstage access is tightly controlled, but this situation clearly stuck with Pearce enough that he took the time to track down the mystery fan through social media.
