One Night Only: In the UK

Ok, yes, I am British, so there are selfish reasons for me wanting this PPV to return to our televisions but hear me out, okay? The UK is the WWE’s second biggest market and the fact that a proper PPV hasn’t been held there since 2001 is baffling. The company have a massive following in the UK, and considering that first W is meant to stand for ‘World’ I think now is the time to put that right.

Sure, the WWE held a tournament in the UK last year, but it’s not quite the same as having an actual PPV take place in the country, is it? An annual PPV in the UK would be huge business for Vince McMahon and with British crowds always creating a great atmosphere for Raw and Smackdown, a PPV seems a wise move on the company’s part.
