War Games
Of all the WCW events that fans would love to see return- War Games would be top of most people’s lists. There is nothing quite like the event in modern wrestling and fans would welcome its return with open arms.
The concept is simple enough. There are two rings, surrounded by a steel cage and there are two teams. Two men start the match and once every few minutes a man from either team enters. Only once every man has entered into the ring, can a winner be determined. Now, the match, in its original format, cannot be won by pinfall, instead, you have to force a member of the opposing team to submit or surrender, or alternatively, knock them unconscious.
Now in the current WWE landscape, the rules would likely be changed, as the match would often get incredibly violent, but even if the match was slightly different, providing it stayed loyal to its roots, the majority of the fanbase would be happy. In an era where the WWE is woefully unimaginative with their match-ups, War Games would be a game changer.
