Ric Flair shared a head-turning post on May 31, featuring an image called “The WOOOOO Compromise” with the caption: “Consent Is Everything! WOOOOO!”

The mock contract, styled like a PSA, jokingly referenced his longtime “Space Mountain” catchphrase and laid out terms for mutual consent in sexual encounters—stating both parties must be sober and willing. The full message reads:

The WOOOOO Compromise

By Signing This Compromise, both parties involved agree to ride Space Mountain and engage in sexual relations on this night. This contract adheres to guidelines of informed consent, and both people in the relationship must be present and not in an intoxicated state before signing. No party should be pressured or persuaded into something that they do not want to do, and they reserve the right to terminate the contract if need be. This contract has the signed and sealed approval of The Nature Boy Ric Flair, who has taken many women for a ride on Space Mountain, and has the utmost respect for women.

But coming from Flair, the timing couldn’t be more questionable. This post arrives just days after a new allegation emerged accusing the WWE Hall of Famer of exposing himself at a public restaurant.

On the Podcast Heat Wrestling podcast, Jim Ross recalled a shocking incident during a birthday dinner for wrestling executive Gary Juster’s wife, a schoolteacher not involved in the wrestling world. Ross detailed how Flair entered the bathroom with a garment bag and returned in a state that left the small dinner party stunned.

“He goes to the bathroom like anybody else would—or maybe drinking, too. He throws down the drink. He comes back out. He’s got a thrasher towel. Yeah. He’s got his knee-high socks, his alligator shoes, and a boner—and no underwear. And he’s strutting around, flashing with his robe, of course. Uh, here his wife had never encountered, but frankly nobody had encountered anything quite like this.”

Ross made it clear the guests were blindsided by Flair’s actions, especially given the intimate and low-key setting.

This isn’t the first time Flair’s been accused of inappropriate behavior. During the Dark Side of the Ring episode covering the “Plane Ride from Hell,” Flair was accused of exposing himself to a flight attendant and attempting to force her hand on his genitals while wearing nothing but his robe. That fallout resulted in Flair being pulled from WWE’s opening video package and facing severe public backlash. Flair later admitted that he’s no longer permitted to wear his robe on planes.

With that history still fresh in many fans’ minds, Flair’s sudden post about consent struck a strange tone. While it reads like an attempt to promote awareness, it also comes off as tone-deaf considering the accusations that continue to follow him.

Whether this was a sincere effort to change the narrative or just another Ric Flair stunt, it’s reignited debate over his legacy and behavior outside the ring.
