Ric Flair just set the record straight after a whirlwind of online speculation about his health—and he’s making it crystal clear he’s not going anywhere.

Fans started panicking after recent meet-and-greet photos surfaced showing the WWE Hall of Famer with visible facial injuries. One fan tweeted, “F* man, every time you see Flair he’s got these random gashes on his forehead or black eyes. He needs to calm down.”* That comment sparked a flurry of concern, prompting Conrad Thompson—Flair’s son-in-law and podcast partner—to claim, “He had a skin cancer removed but go on.”

That might’ve seemed like the end of it—until Flair himself jumped in to clear things up.

“I’m Sorry People Have Been Misled By Social Media, But I Don’t Have Cancer Of Any Kind,” Flair tweeted hours later. “Thank You For Your Concerns And For Everyone Reaching Out. I Am Absolutely Fine, And Unfortunately, You’ll Have To Live And Put Up With Me For Another 25 Years!”

This update puts a definitive end to the cancer rumor and shows that The Nature Boy isn’t slowing down anytime soon. At 76, Flair has survived multiple near-death experiences, including organ failure in 2017 and hospitalization in 2019. Yet he continues to attend fan events and remain active in the wrestling world—much to the amazement of fans and doctors alike.

Flair hasn’t shared what caused the visible marks on his face, but based on his tweet, he’s not losing sleep over it—and doesn’t want anyone else to, either.

What do you think about Ric Flair’s denial? Should people stop speculating, or is it fair to worry when public figures look unwell? Sound off in the comments below.
