Cody Rhodes has his sights set on a new chapter outside the WWE ring. The 39-year-old, who currently reigns as the Undisputed WWE Champion, opened up about his aspirations during a recent chat on the “2 Bears, 1 Cave” podcast.

Rhodes, a fan favorite and the face of WWE, revealed that he plans to stay in the thick of the action until age 45. After that, he envisions scaling back to a part-time schedule to focus on other passions—specifically, a career in acting.

“I would love to tell stories like we do in the ring in a different fashion,” Rhodes shared. “I’d absolutely love to do it. But I’ve always been so linked into wrestling and coming back to WWE, where winning the championship for WWE is essentially like being the quarterback of the team.”

Despite his Hollywood ambitions, Rhodes emphasized that wrestling remains his top priority for now. “It’s been the most fun and rewarding time I’ve ever had in my career, but I can definitely see; I don’t think I’d be able to do it on this level forever,” he added.

For fans of The American Nightmare, this isn’t just a farewell plan—it’s a glimpse into Cody’s broader vision as a storyteller. While his WWE journey is far from over, it’s clear he’s already planting the seeds for life beyond the squared circle.
