AJ Francis was released from his WWE contract last year, but that didn’t faze him as he became a household name in TNA Wrestling over the past several months. While Francis’ future in TNA is uncertain, he has now asked fans whether he should attend AEW Worlds End or a WWE live event in Florida on December 28th.
AJ Francis took to Twitter and pointed out how AEW and WWE will be holding events in Florida today, namely AEW Worlds End and a live event as part of WWE’s Holiday Tour. He mentioned having friends on both rosters and also stated he would be a free agent in four days. Francis posed a question to fans, asking which show he should attend, with the poll results showing 27.4% favoring AEW and 72.6% favoring WWE.
“AEW & WWE both running in Orlando tonight… Got friends on both cards… I’m a Free Agent in 4 Days… Which show should I go to?”
AEW’s World’s End 2024 pay-per-view is scheduled to take place in Orlando at the Addition Financial Arena, while the WWE live event will also be held at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida. Many believe that WWE made this move to crush AEW, and judging by the ticket sales for the live event, WWE’s plans certainly worked.
With AJ Francis set to become a free agent in a matter of days, only time will tell whether he will decide to go back to WWE or sign with AEW. After all, Francis has already made it clear he is open to returning to WWE in the future, so anything is possible for the former WWE Superstar.
