Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa have been in a heated feud for several months, with reports suggesting they would eventually battle for a Tribal Chief Championship. However, there has now been some clarification on that matter.
According to a report by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there are no plans for a new title called the Tribal Chief title. However, it’s clear that there will still be feuds over the Ula Fala, as expected.
“Regarding reports of a new title being added called the Tribal Chief title, we’re told that’s not happening either. Now will guys feud over the ula fala, yes, obviously.”
This comes after WrestleVotes reported that WWE had discussed the idea of introducing a Tribal Chief Championship as part of the ongoing storyline between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. The concept was said to be similar to the People’s Championship, which was presented to The Rock at WrestleMania earlier this year.
“Sources indicate WWE has discussed introducing a Tribal Chief Championship into the storyline between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa, similar to the People’s Championship presented to The Rock at WrestleMania earlier this year.”
Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa are set to square off against each other in a “Tribal Combat” match during the debut episode of Monday Night RAW on Netflix on January 6, 2024. While there won’t be any Tribal Chief title on the line, the stakes are still high as they are fighting for the ula fala, which will determine who will be the true Tribal Chief of The Bloodline. Therefore, we will have to wait and see who will come out on top on January 6, 2025 as fans are eagerly waiting for the match.
