Countdown To TNA Final Resolution 2024 Kickoff Pre-Show (12/13/2024):

The Countdown To TNA Final Resolution 2024 Kickoff Pre-Show opens up with Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt welcoming us. We then get the entrances of the first match of the pre-show, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Leon Slater vs. The System’s JDC

The match starts off with Leon Slater and JDC feeling each other out early on. Slater then showcases his athleticism. JDC then slaps him in the face. Slater then sends JDC to the outside and dives onto him. JDC then pulls Slater off the top rope and grounds him with some strikes and a side Russian Leg Sweep. JDC then hits Slater with a Falcon Arrow and continues to ground him. Slater then hits JDC with a tornado DDT. Slater then sends JDC to the outside with a dropkick. Slater then dives onto JDC again. JDC then rolls Slater up and puts his feet on the ropes for the win.

We then get a video package hyping up the title match between Tasha Steelz and TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich.

We then head to the back, where Gia Miller announces that Hammerstone is unable to compete due to an injury. Jake Something is then asked if he has a replacement and says that he doesn’t need any help.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the pre-show, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: 2024 Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match Winner “The King Of TNA” Frankie Kazarian vs. “The Octopus” Jonathan Gresham

The match starts off with Frankie Kazarian blindsiding Jonathan Gresham while he’s talking to the official and Kazarian takes control. Gresham then responds by placing Kazarian in the Octopus hold in the ropes. Gresham then goes for an early pin attempt. Kazarian then hits Gresham with a forearm and grounds him. Kazarian then suplexes Gresham and sends him into the corner. Kazarian then hits Gresham with a back suplex. Gresham then rallies and gets a two count with a pin attempt. Kazarian then counters into a Chicken Wing, but Gresham escapes. Gresham then goes for The Octopus and wrenches Kazarian. Gresham then transitions into an arm-bar, but Kazarian reaches the ropes to break the hold. Gresham then chops Kazarian, but Kazarian responds with a slingshot cutter. Both men then go back and forth and Kazarian gets a two count with a pin attempt. Kazarian then thumbs Gresham in the eye and locks in the Chicken Wing, forcing Gresham to tap out.

We then get a video package hyping up the title match between TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth and AJ Francis.

TNA Final Resolution 2024 Results (12/13/2024):

TNA Final Resolution 2024 opens up with a video package featuring the top matches taking place on tonight’s show. Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt then welcomes us to the show and we get the entrances of the first match of the PPV, which is a TNA X-Division Championship Match.

TNA X-Division Championship Match: The System’s Moose (c) vs. “The Time Splitter” KUSHIDA

The match starts off with KUSHIDA taking the fight to Moose. Moose then overpowers KUSHIDA. KUSHIDA then fires up and goes for a dive, but Moose catches him and slams him into the steps. Moose then runs at KUSHIDA, but KUSHIDA moves, sending Moose shoulder-first into the steel steps. KUSHIDA then sends Moose arm-first into the steel steps. KUSHIDA then continues to control the action and targets Moose’s arm. Moose then gouges KUSHIDA’s eyes and slams him. KUSHIDA then rallies and kicks Moose. Moose then slams KUSHIDA onto the mat. KUSHIDA then fires up and delivers some strikes on Moose, then continues to target Moose’s arm. KUSHIDA then goes for the Hoverboard Lock, but Moose escapes. KUSHIDA then hits Moose with a tornado DDT and follows it up with the Back to the Future for a two count. Both men then trade shots. Moose then flies off the top, but KUSHIDA catches him in the Hoverboard Lock. Moose then escapes, but KUSHIDA rolls him up for a two count. KUSHIDA then flies off the ropes and Moose hits him with a Spear for the win.

After the match, Moose celebrates his win.

We then head to the back, where Gia Miller is interviewing First Class (AJ Francis and KC Navarro). Francis and Navarro hypes up the TNA World Championship Match set to take place in tonight’s main event. Francis then says it is the biggest moment of his career. Francis then says he has never wanted anything more than to be World Champion.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the PPV, which is a 3-Way Tag Team Match.

3-Way Tag Team Match: The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz) vs. “The Death Machine” Sami Callihan and TNA Digital Media and International Wrestling Heavyweight Champion “The French-Canadian Frankenstein” PCO vs. Jake Something

The match starts off with Sami Callihan and Zachary Wentz. Both men go back and forth. Something then tags himself in and Wentz takes him down. The Rascalz then double team Something. Something then tags PCO and PCO overpowers The Rascalz. Callihan then tags in and grounds Miguel. Callihan then continues to control the action. PCO and Callihan then double team Miguel. Miguel then rallies and Wentz takes the fight to Something. Wentz then hits Something with a German suplex. The Rascalz then double team Something. Miguel then superkicks Callihan and dives to the outside. Callihan then sends Wentz to the outside. PCO then hits the PCO-sault onto several of his opponents. Miguel then kicks Callihan, but gets slammed by PCO. Wentz then fires up, but Something powerbombs him. Something then powerbombs Miguel onto Wentz and powerbombs Callihan. Something then hits PCO with a powerbomb. Miguel then flies off the ropes and takes down PCO and something. The Rascalz then superkick Callihan. The Rascalz then hit a double team move on Something for the win.

After the match, PCO and Callihan show their respect for The Rascalz. Another “23” teaser then plays on the big screen, with a message that says it’s “just a number.”

We then head to the back, where Eric Young is having a conversation with Steve Maclin about the 4-Way Match set to take place later tonight. Young tells Maclin that he has his back in tonight’s #1 Contenders 4-Way Match for the TNA World Championship.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the PPV, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: ABC’s “The Inevitable” Ace Austin vs. Trent Seven

The match starts off with Ace Austin taking the fight to Trent Seven. Austin then hits Seven with some strikes. Austin then hits Seven with a dropkick, sending him to the outside. Seven then trips up Austin on the ropes, sending him crashing to the mat. Austin then grounds Seven. Seven then maintains the advantage. Austin then rallies, but Seven slams him. Austin then perseveres and hits Seven with a kick. Austin then briefly takes control. Seven then hits Austin with a Burning Hammer onto the apron. Seven then slams Austin once again for a two count. Austin then blocks a lariat and hits a spinning kick on Seven. Seven then hits Austin with a stiff shot. Seven then counters the Art of Finesse and hits a lariat on Austin. Seven then hits Austin with a piledriver. Austin then counters the Burning Hammer and hits a DDT on Seven. Austin then hits the Art of Finesse on Seven, then follows it up with The Fold for the win.

We then head to the back, where Frankie Kazarian talks about his win on the pre-show. Kazarian then highlights TNA Wrestling’s successful year. Kazarian then says he will be keeping an eye on the TNA World Championship Match.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the PPV, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: “The Juggernaut” Jordynne Grace vs. Rosemary

The match starts off with Jordynne Grace and Rosemary battling it out early on. Both women then go back and forth. Rosemary then counters an Electric Chair and chokes Grace in the ropes. Rosemary then snaps Grace in the ropes and continues to ground her. Rosemary then wrenches Grace’s arm in the ropes and hits her with a sliding forearm. Rosemary then hits Grace with a chop. Grace then narrowly avoids getting counted out. Grace then rallies with a stiff shot. Both women then trade strikes. Grace then hits Rosemary with a slam. Grace then nails Rosemary with a back fist. Rosemary then goes for a Spear, but Grace rolls through. Grace then gets a two count with a backfist. The match then spills up the ramp. Rosemary then puts Grace in a sleeper, but Grace slams her way out of it. Rosemary then hits a Spear on Grace in the ring. Grace then responds with a Muscle Buster. A masked individual then pulls the referee out of the ring and attacks Grace. They then continue to attack Grace at ringside. The masked individual then gets Grace back in the ring and hits her with several more strikes. The masked individual then hits Grace with a DDT. The masked individual then unmask and reveal themselves to be Tessa Blanchard. The match then suddenly ends as a video package for TNA Genesis plays.

We then head to the back, where Gia Miller is interviewing Tessa Blanchard about what just happened. Tessa Blanchard says she reminded everyone who this company was built on. Blanchard then says she’s back and she’s taking what’s hers. Blanchard then shoves Gia Miller and walks off.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the PPV, which is a TNA World Championship #1 Contender’s 4-Way Match.

TNA World Championship #1 Contender’s 4-Way Match: Joe Hendry vs. The Northern Armory’s “The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander vs. Mike Santana vs. Steve Maclin

The match starts off with Mike Santana gaining an early advantage with a dropkick through the ropes. Santana then takes the fight to Alexander. Maclin and Alexander then go back and forth. Hendry then hits Alexander with a clothesline. Hendry then slams Alexander. Santana then nails Maclin with a kick. Maclin then nails Santana with a lariat. Hendry then nails Maclin with a cutter. Alexander then trips Santana and he lands on the apron. Alexander then hits Maclin with several German suplexes. Hendry then rallies, but Alexander hits him with a dragon screw and targets his leg. Hendry then fires up, but Alexander hits him with a shot to the face. Alexander then sends Hendry to the outside. Santana and Alexander then trade shots. Santana then chops Alexander, but gets suplexed. Santana then hits Alexander with a cutter. Santana then hits the Street Sweeper on Alexander. Hendry rallies again. Maclin hits Hendry with a knee. Alexander then takes control. All four men then battle back and forth. Santana then dives onto Alexander at ringside. Hendry then dives onto all of his opponents. Alexander then gets a zip-tie and ties Santana to the barricade. Alexander then hits Maclin below the belt. Hendry then hits Alexander with the Standing Ovation for the win.

We then head to the back, where TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth hypes up his title match set to take place later tonight. Nemeth then vows to remain the TNA World Champion in the main event.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the PPV, which is a TNA Knockouts World Championship Falls Count Anywhere Match.

TNA Knockouts World Championship Falls Count Anywhere Match: Masha Slamovich (c) vs. “The Boricua Bad Ass” Tasha Steelz

Prior to the match officially starting, Santino Marella makes his way out and announces the Falls Count Anywhere stipulation being added. Marella also announces that Alisha Edwards is banned from ringside and from the building as well. Tasha Steelz then takes the fight to Slamovich, but Slamovich responds with a clothesline that sends Steelz to the outside. Slamovich then dives onto Steelz and several members of the security team. Steelz then suplexes Slamovich on top of the steel steps. Steelz then grounds Slamovich and targets her leg. Slamovich then hits Steelz with a dropkick. Steelz then sends Slamovich on the apron and nails her with a DDT onto the floor. Slamovich then hits Steelz with a superplex. Both women then trade shots. Steelz then hits Slamovich with a cutter on the ramp. Both women then brawl at the top of the stage. Steelz then hits Slamovich with a bulldog. Slamovich then hits Steelz with a stiff shot and follows it up with a piledriver for the win.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the PPV, which is a TNA World Tag Team Championship Tables Match.

TNA World Tag Team Championship Tables Match: The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) (c) vs. The System (Eddie Edwards and “The Most Professional Wrestler” Brian Myers)

The match starts off with both teams brawling. The Hardys then take control early on. Matt Hardy then hits Brian Myers with a Twist of Fate. Eddie Edwards then crotches Jeff Hardy on the ropes and The System takes control. Matt Hardy then hits a superplex on Edwards. Edwards and Myers then slam Matt Hardy through a table. Edwards and Myers then gang up on Jeff Hardy. Matt Hardy then re-joins the fight and The Hardys rally. Matt Hardy then hits Myers with a Twist of Fate through a table. Edwards and Jeff Hardy then battle back and forth. A fan then slaps Edwards and gets ejected. Jeff Hardy then rallies. Myers then hits Matt Hardy below the belt. The match then briefly spills to the backstage area. Edwards and Myers then double team Jeff Hardy. Matt Hardy then fights Edwards and Myers off with a chair. Jeff Hardy then hits a Swanton Bomb on Edwards off a balcony and through a table for the win.

TNA World Championship Match: “The Wanted Man” Nic Nemeth (c) vs. First Class’ AJ Francis

The match starts off with AJ Francis talking some trash. Nic Nemeth then nails Francis with a headbutt and superkicks him. Nemeth then goes for the sleeper, but Francis escapes and runs over Nemeth. Frankie Kazarian then makes his way down the ramp, making it clear that he’s watching the match. Kazarian then joins the commentary team. Nemeth then rolls to the outside. Francis then runs Nemeth over and slams him onto the apron. Francis then grounds Nemeth. KC Navarro then attacks Nemeth at ringside. Nemeth then goes to slam Francis, but his back gives out and Francis crushes him. Nemeth then superkicks Francis and follows it up with a powerbomb. Francis then gains the upper hand. Nemeth then hits Francis with a DDT and a slam. Francis then slams Nemeth. Navarro then interferes once again and gets ejected from ringside. Nemeth then hits the Danger Zone for a near fall. Nemeth then gets a two count with a Fameasser. Francis then slams Nemeth for a two count. Francis then hits Nemeth with a chokeslam. Francis then sends Nemeth across the ring. Nemeth then hits Francis with a Fameasser and a superkick, then follows it up with a Danger Zone for the win.

After the match, KC Navarro attacks Nic Nemeth from behind. AJ Francis and Navarro then gangs up on Nemeth. Joe Hendry then makes his way down to the ring for the save. Hendry and Nemeth then both grab the TNA World Title and stare each other down. Nemeth then raises the title and gets in Hendry’s face. Both men then argue and the show comes to a close.
