Countdown To TNA Turning Point 2024 Kickoff Pre-Show (11/29/2024):

The Countdown To TNA Turning Point 2024 Kickoff Pre-Show opens up with Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt welcoming us to the show. Joe Hendry’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring to address the iMPACT Zone.

Hendry starts off by saying he would like to be in the world title picture, but instead he is in the Turkey Bowl Match. Hendry then brings up the other competitors in the match and shares the photos of each competitor on the big screen. Hendry first posts the photo of Hammerstone and says he can be more marketable if he dresses up. We then see Hammerstone with a turkey face. Hendry then asks the crowd if they should re-name him Hammer-Turkey or Turkey-Stone and the fans choose Turkey-Stone. Hendry then says unfortunately PCO can’t be here tonight, but he has been replaced by Rhino. Hendry then says he will be better as another animal and we see a turkey over his face. Hendry then posts Brian Myers’ photo next and he asks if the production crew if they can switch it to the worst pro wrestler of all-time. The image blinks and the same photo is shown. Hendry then asks the fans if they are ready for some wrestling action. Hendry then gets the fans to chant “TNA” and “We Believe.”

We then get a TNA Genesis hype video.

Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt then talk about Final Resolution, which will take place on December 13th. Hannifan and Rehwoldt also talk about TNA iMPACT being live on January 23rd.

We then get a hype video for the main event between Nic Nemeth and Eddie Edwards for the TNA World Championship.

We then see the arrivals of The System and TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth from earlier today.

We then get the entrances of the first match of the night, which is a 3-Way Match.

3-Way Match: Rosemary vs. Xia Brookside vs. Savannah Evans

The match starts off with all three women going back-and-forth. Rosemary then goes after Xia Brookside. Brookside then side steps and Rosemary hits Savannah Evans. Evans and Rosemary then double team Brookside. Rosemary then goes for a quick cover. Evans then pulls Rosemary up and Rosemary begs off of her. Evans and Rosemary then continue to double team Brookside. Evans then goes for a pin, but Rosemary stops it from happening. Brookside then pulls her opponents into each other and then disposes of Rosemary to the outside. Brookside then uses her quickness to take down Evans. Evans then rolls to the outside. Brookside then goes to the apron and climbs up to the second turnbuckle. Brookside then goes for a crossbody, but is caught by her competitors. They then slam her down and roll her back into the ring. Rosemary then sends Brookside into the corner. Evans then runs at Brookside with a shoulder and then sends her to Rosemary. Rosemary then hits a slam and Evans hits a leg drop. Evans then goes for a pin, but Rosemary breaks it up. Evans then clotheslines Rosemary. Evans then hits Brookside with a big boot and big right hand. Brookside is sent into the corner by Evans. Evans then chokes Brookside and lifts her up, throwing her into the corner. Evans then hits a Fisherman Suplex. Rosemary then breaks up the pin. Rosemary then goes after Evans, but Evans is able to knock her down. Evans then goes after Brookside. Brookside then briefly fights back, but Evans stops her progress. Brookside then tries to hit a roll up. Rosemary then knocks Evans down. Evans then pops up quickly and takes out Brookside. Rosemary and Evans then square off in the middle of the ring, exchanging strikes. Rosemary then tries to tackle Evans down, but Evans stays up. Evans then tries to hit a big boot in the corner, but Rosemary moves. Brookside then comes in and hits a few running strikes on both of her opponents. Brookside then hits a Side Russian Leg Sweep on Rosemary and covers her. Evans then lifts Brookside off of the cover. Brookside then reverses and sends Evans into Rosemary. Brookside then hits a neckbreaker on Rosemary, which causes Rosemary to DDT Evans. Rosemary then grabs Brookside. Evans then gives the big boot on Rosemary. Brookside then takes down Evans and Rosemary takes out Brookside. Rosemary then focuses on Evans. Brookside then joins in and Evans is lifted to the second rope. Evans then throws off both of her opponents. Brookside then pops up and hits the Brooksy Bomb on Evans. Rosemary then breaks up the pin and hits the Spear on Brookside for the win.

We then get a Steve Maclin video package, along with a look at the ongoing rivalry between Maclin and “The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander. When it wraps up, Gia Miller is backstage with Steve Maclin. Maclin talks about Alexander making things very personal between them. Maclin then vows to make him pay tonight.

Hannifan and Rehwoldt then runs down the lineup for the show one final time as fans chant “TNA” in the background. The Countdown To TNA Turning Point 2024 Kickoff Pre-Show then comes to a close.

TNA Turning Point 2024 Results (11/29/2024):

TNA Turning Point 2024 opens up with a video package. Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt then welcomes us to the show.

We then get the entrances of the first match of the PPV, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: “The King Of TNA” Frankie Kazarian vs. Mike Santana

The match starts off with Frankie Kazarian and Mike Santana feeling each other out early on. Both men then go back and forth. Santana then dives onto Kazarian at ringside. Santana then hits Kazarian with a superkick. Kazarian then gains the upper hand and knocks Santana off the apron. Kazarian then grounds Santana, but Santana rallies back. Santana then hits a chop on Kazarian. Kazarian then sends Santana crashing off the apron and onto the floor. Kazarian goes for the Chicken Wing, but Santana evades it. Santana then hits Kazarian with a belly-to-belly off the top rope. Santana then kicks Kazarian and hits him with a cutter. Santana then hits Kazarian with a Death Valley Driver for a two count. Kazarian then responds with a twisting neckbreaker. Santana then nails Kazarian with a twisting neckbreaker. Kazarian then hits Santana with a slingshot cutter. Santana then nails Kazarian with his Spin The Block finisher for the win.

We then head to the back, where we see The System being interviewed. Brian Myers says no one is going to see him in a turkey suit tonight. Moose then sends a message to Laredo Kid ahead of his X-Division Championship Match. Moose says he is taking Kid’s mask and sending him back to Mexico or Laredo, Texas. Eddie Edwards then says he intends to leave Turning Point as the new TNA World Champion.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the PPV, which is a 6-Way Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl Match. During his entrance, The Good Hands’ John Skyler cuts a promo and insults the fans. Skyler also insults his opponents and says one of them will be leaving in a turkey suit.

6-Way Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl Match: Joe Hendry vs. “The World Class Maniac” Eric Young vs. Hammerstone vs. The System’s “The Most Professional Wrestler” Brian Myers vs. TNA Digital Media and International Heavyweight Champion “The French-Canadian Frankenstein” PCO vs. The Good Hands’ John Skyler

The match starts off with all six men brawling. A bunch of them then spill out of the ring, leaving Hendry and Skyler as the only two competitors in the ring. Hendry then hits a stalling suplex. Rhino then briefly gains the upper hand. Hammerstone seemingly hurts his leg and he leaves the ring. Skyler and Myers then double team on Young and isolate him. Hammerstone then gets back in the ring, but he is seemingly dealing with an injury of some sort. Hendry then takes the fight to Hammerstone. Hammerstone then overpowers him. Rhino then hits Hammerstone with a Gore. Rhino then slams Myers, Skyler and Young. Hendry then rallies and takes control. Hendry then slams Hammerstone. Myers then hits Hendry with a Roster Cut. Rhino then hits Hammerstone with another Gore. Rhino then hits Skyler with a Gore, but Myers nails him with a Spear. Hendry then hits Myers with the Standing Ovation for the win.

After the match, Hendry’s music hits and he celebrates with the turkey suit in-hand. Brian Myers then tries to escape, but he is forced back into the ring. Hendry then hits Myers with an Attitude Adjustment, then he, Young and Rhino play to the crowd. Young then sends Myers into a gore from Rhino. Fans then start to chant “Turkey Myers” as all three men put the turkey suit on Myers.

We then head to the back, where Rosemary is shown in an empty stairwell. Rosemary says she doesn’t care if it’s Jordynne Grace or Masha Slamovich as she has her sights set on the championship. Rosemary then says she wants it and she will take it. Rosemary then says she will take everything good in their lives. Rosemary then laughs and says there is nothing anyone can do to stop her.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the PPV, which is a TNA X-Division Championship Match.

TNA X-Division Championship Match: The System’s Moose (c) vs. Laredo Kid

The match starts off with Laredo Kid getting right in Moose’s face. Kid then shoves Moose. Moose then begins manhandling Kid. Moose then sends Kid crashing out to the floor. Moose then sends Kid into the barricade. Alisha Edwards then hits some cheap shots on Kid from the floor. Kid then starts to fight back and delivers some strikes on Moose. Kid then hits Moose with a Spanish Fly for a close two count. Moose then hits Kid with a spear for the win.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match of the PPV, which is a No Disqualification Match.

No Disqualification Match: The Northern Armory’s “The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander vs. Steve Maclin

The match starts off with both men going after each other. Maclin then clotheslines Alexander to the floor. Maclin then hits Alexander with a dive through the ropes, then sends Alexander into the barricade and the ring steps. Maclin then drops Alexander face first on the ring apron as he pulls out a table from under the ring. Maclin then gets Alexander up on his shoulders, but Alexander rakes Maclin’s eyes to escape. Alexander then tries to knock Maclin through the table he set up, but Maclin hits a headbutt to the gut. Maclin then hits a clothesline on Alexander, then follows it up with some strikes. Alexander then hits Maclin with several German Suplexes. Maclin then hits a German Suplex of his own. Maclin then sends Alexander into the corner and follows it up with a release suplex that sends Maclin neck first into the bottom corner. Alexander then goes outside, grabs another table and sets it against the apron. Both men then trade chops. Maclin then looks for a piledriver, but Alexander counters with a backdrop. Alexander now has Maclin up, but Maclin fights out. Maclin then hits Alexander with a DVD on through a table. Maclin then goes under the ring, throwing weapons into the ring. Maclin then smacks Alexander to the back with a trash can lid. Maclin then stomps Josh and hits him again with the lid. Maclin then lodges the trash can in the corner. Alexander then stops the attack and drops Maclin with some punches. Alexander then sends Maclin to the other corner. Maclin then puts up his leg and Alexander cinches in an ankle lock. Maclin then breaks the hold with a trash can lid. Both men are on the outside now and Alexander hits a variant of the World’s Strongest Slam on Maclin on the apron. Alexander then hits Maclin twice with the trash can. Alexander then puts Maclin in the can and smacks it with a broken piece of the table on the floor. Alexander then hits a crossbody on Maclin while he’s still in the trash can.

Alexander then hits Maclin with the trash can repeatedly. Alexander then hits Maclin with the lid again. Alexander then brings out a door from under the ring, but he takes too long with it and Maclin drop kicks it into the face of Alexander. Maclin then puts the door on Alexander. Maclin then smacks Alexander with the broken piece of table. Maclin then goes back into the ring to fire the fans up and goes back out to retrieve Alexander. Alexander then picks the ankle of Maclin and traps him against the ring post. Alexander then hits Maclin with shots from the broken table piece. Alexander then kicks Maclin in the middle of the ring. Alexander then smashes the leg of Maclin. Alexander then sets up two chairs in the middle of the ring. Alexander then stomps on Steve’s left leg against the ropes. Alexander then stands up on the chair, looking for a piledriver, but Maclin hits Alexander with an Alabama Slam through some chairs. Both men then struggle back to their feet. Maclin then hits some clotheslines and follows it up with a backbreaker. Maclin then goes for the KIA, but Alexander forces Maclin back to the corner. Maclin then throws a chair at Alexander. Maclin then climbs to the top rope, but Alexander nails the chair right in his face. Maclin fights through the pain and rolls Alexander over and headfirst into a lodged trash can in the corner. Maclin then has Alexander upside down in the corner. Maclin then charges and hits Alexander. Maclin then hits a KIA. Maclin then goes outside the ring and throws a black bag into the ring. Alexander then hits a low blow on Maclin. Alexander then pulls Maclin up to the top rope and goes for a C-4 Spike, but Maclin hits a headbutt. Maclin then hits a KIA on Alexander onto some shell casings for the win.

Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt then say Ace Austin will be teaming up with North Carolina’s own The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) for a big 6-Man Tag Team Match against the team of Zachary Wentz, KUSHIDA and a mystery partner due to Trey Miguel having travel issues.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match of the PPV, which is a 6-Man Tag Team Match. After Zachary Wentz makes his way out, he grabs a microphone and says he went to The Treehouse to think of the only potential replacement for Trey Miguel and Matt Riddle’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring.

6-Man Tag Team Match: TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) and ABC’s Ace Austin vs. The Rascalz’s Zachary Wentz, “Time Splitter” KUSHIDA and “The Original Bro” Matt Riddle

The match starts off with Zachary Wentz and Ace Austin. Both men trade counters and holds and Austin gets a one count. Wentz then counters with a crucifix for a two count. Wentz then hits a cartwheel, but Austin reverses with an arm lock. Austin then tags in Jeff and Wentz takes Jeff to the corner. Jeff then fights him to his own corner. Jeff then slides out of the ring and Wentz gives chase. Matt then tags himself in as Jeff and Matt do some double teamwork. Wentz then hits an arm drag, a boot to the face in the corner and a spiral cross body. KUSHIDA then gets the tag and puts a low surfboard submission on Matt. Matt then wrenches and the arm of KUSHIDA. Jeff then tags in and hits a double axe on the arm of KUSHIDA. Jeff then tags in Austin and he continues to work over the arm of KUSHIDA. Austin then does a roll through, but KUSHIDA hits him with a basement drop kick.

Riddle is then tagged in and Austin misses a punch. Riddle then hits the rolling gut-wrench suplex. Riddle then hits a fisherman suplex for a two count. Riddle then hits a PK, but the senton splash is blocked by Austin. Austin then sends Riddle to the floor as Austin tags in Jeff. Wentz then gets the blind tag. Jeff then hits a clothesline and a kick on the spine of Wentz and gets a two count. Matt then tags in and attacks the arm of Wentz. Matt then hits a slingshot into the bottom rope. Wentz then grabs the bottom rope to break up the pin. Austin then tags in and Wentz tries to fight out. He then knocks the Hardy’s off the apron and he gets Riddle into the match. Riddle then hits some clotheslines on both Matt and Wentz. Riddle then hits an Exploder on Austin. KUSHIDA then gets the tag and Austin has been isolated in their corner. Wentz is then tagged in, but quickly tags back out to KUSHIDA. Jeff and Wentz then tag in and Jeff gets a two count. Jeff then goes for a Twist of Fate, but Wentz hits a jumping knee strike. KUSHIDA is then tagged in, but Jeff fights him and Wentz off. Jeff then hits the whisper in the wind on both men. The Hardys then hit Poetry in Motion on Wentz. The Hardys then hit an elbow and senton combo on KUSHIDA, but Riddle breaks it up. Riddle then misses a kick and Jeff hits a Canadian Destroyer. KUSHIDA then gets a Hoverboard Lock, buts it is broken up. Jeff then hits a Swanton Bomb for the win.

After the match, everyone shakes hands and shows some respect.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the PPV, which is a TNA Knockouts World Champion 2-Out-Of-3 Falls Match.

TNA Knockouts World Championship 2-Out-Of-3 Falls Match: Masha Slamovich (c) vs. “The Juggernaut” Jordynne Grace

The match starts off with both women exchanging holds and submission moves. Grace then hits multiple clotheslines and a spinebuster on Slamovich for a close two count. Slamovich then fights back and places Grace up on her back, then sends her throat-first across the ring ropes. Slamovich then nails Grace with a clothesline of her own. Slamovich then hits a package piledriver on Grace on the floor Slamovich then looks for another package piledriver, but this time Grace avoids it and starts to rally back. Grace then looks for a muscle buster, but Slamovich avoids it. Slamovich then hits a knee on Grace. Both women then attempt multiple roll-ups and pin attempts. Grace then ends up scoring the first fall of the match. Slamovich then nearly gets the second fall of the match with a double-stomp into a cover, but Grace kicks out. Slamovich then puts a sleeper on Grace and Grace begins to pass out. Grace then comes back and escapes. Grace then hits a Vertebreaker on Slamovich for a close two count. Slamovich then kicks out and Grace looks for the Juggernaut Driver, but Slamovich sees it coming and fights it off. Slamovich then hits a DDT on Grace and transitions into a guillotine choke and Grace begins to pass out. The referee then checks on Grace and Grace is able to escape. Slamovich then ends up getting a roll-up cradle out of nowhere for a three count to tie things up at 1-1. Grace then immediately goes after Slamovich and hits her with some ground-and-pound. Slamovich then hits Grace with a knee on her face and follows it up with a sit-out powerbomb. Slamovich then hits Grace with a package piledriver for the win.

Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt then announce three matches for the December 5 post-TNA Turning Point episode of TNA iMPACT on AXS TV and TNA+.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the main event of the PPV, which is a TNA World Championship Match.

TNA World Championship Match: “The Wanted Man” Nic Nemeth (c) vs. The System’s Eddie Edwards

The match starts off with Nemeth going straight after Eddie Edwards, but Alisha Edwards causes a distraction and it leads to Eddie Edwards getting the momentum in his favor. Edwards then controls the action for a few minutes and distracts the referee long enough for Alisha to hit some cheap shots on Nemeth. Nemeth then fights back and Alisha causes the distraction once again, allowing Eddie Edwards to hit a dropkick on Nemeth. Nemeth then nails Edwards and both men are down and slowly getting back to their feet. Both men then begin trading shots back-and-forth in the middle of the ring. Nemeth then hits a headbutt on Edwards, but Alisha gets involved once again. The referee catches Alisha Edwards this time around and ejects her from ringside. Nemeth then looks for the FameAsser, but Edwards counters the move. Nemeth then starts to fight back again and hits a FameAsser on Edwards. Nemeth then goes for a cover, but Edwards kicks out. Alisha Edwards then re-appears once again. Nemeth then grabs Alisha from the ring apron and ducks when Eddie Edwards charges at him. Nemeth then gets hit with a cheap shot with the title. Edwards then follows it up with a Boston Knee Party for a close two count. Edwards then goes for the Die-Hard-driver, but Nemeth counters and hits his Danger Zone finisher for a close two count. Both men then end up laid out on the floor at ringside and Brian Myers makes his way down to the ring, but before he can do anything, JBL appears in the crowd. JBL then enters the ring and nails Myers with a Clothesline from Hell. JBL then exits the ring and leaves. Nemeth then drags himself back in the ring and Edwards does the same. Both men then go at it and Nemeth hits a super kick and a Danger Zone on Edwards for the win.

After the match, Tom Hannifan says it’s time we get some answers regarding JBL’s relationship with Nemeth. Nemeth then celebrates his win and poses on the ropes with his title as the show comes to a close.
