It’s Monday night, and you know what that means! WWE RAW will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the October 21, 2024 episode.

The show opens up with video footage of fans waiting outside the arena as Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett welcomes us. WWE Intercontinental Champion “Main Event” Jey Uso was then shown walking backstage and we get a separate shot of Bron Breaker walking in the backstage area as well.
We then see the business men handling the WWE Crown Jewel Championship opening the case containing the title. American Made was then shown crossing paths with Alpha Academy and we get a shot of Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee.
“Big” Bronson Reed is then shown walking backstage when Seth “Freakin” Rollins suddenly attacks him from behind. Rollins then grabs the suitcase Reed was wheeling and bashes him with it. Several people then intervenes and Rollins makes his way down to the ring. Seth Rollins starts off by saying if Reed wants to be famous, he will make him famous. Rollins then demands that Reed make his way down to the ring, but RAW General Manager Adam Pearce and several officials appear trying to stop Rollins. Reed then appears and pushes his way through security, then hits a Samoan Drop on Rollins and climbs to the top. Rollins then rolls out of the ring before Reed can hit him with a Tsunami, but Reed flies off the apron and hits Rollins with a shoulder tackle, then clears the announce desk. Reed then places Rollins on it, but a security guard jumps from behind. Reed then sends the security guard crashing into all the other guards, then looks to hit a Tsunami on Rollins. Rollins then moves out of the way and Reed is sent crashing through the announce desk. Both Rollins and Reed are then held back by security and producers.
We then head to the back, where Jackie Redmond is interviewing Damage CTRL (IYO SKY and Kairi Sane) about facing Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson on Tuesday’s NXT. The Judgment Day’s WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez then interrupts and dismisses Redmond. Morgan then looks into the camera and addresses WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax and accuses her of being jealous. SKY and Sane then gets annoyed. Morgan says she and Rodriguez held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles before and then can hold them again whenever they want. Rodriguez then looks down at SKY and Sane while Morgan agrees to face them in a tag team match later in the show.
The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night.
We then get a video package on the WWE Intercontinental Championship Match.
Joe Tessitore then mentions that Samantha Irvin announced she is moving on to new challenges. Tessitore then wishes Irvin the best and says it was a pleasure to welcome back Lilian Garcia. Garcia is then shown standing at ringside while introducing The New Day. The Final Testament then make their way way down to the ring.
The match starts off with Akam and Kofi Kingston. Both men lock up and Woods tags in. Kingston then hits a splash on Akam using the top rope. Woods then follows it up with an elbow drop and goes for a pin, but Akam kicks out. Kingston then tags in and hits a double stomp on Akam’s arm as Woods holds him in place, then tags Woods back in. Woods then hits a double ax handle on Akam as Kingston holds him in place, but Akam nails Woods as Miz appears at ringside to watch the action. Rezar then puts Woods in a Bear Hug. Woods then escapes and tags in Kingston and Kingston hits a dropkick on Rezar and sends Akam crashing off the apron. Woods then hits a tope suicida to land on Akam on the outside before Kingston hits the Boom Drop on Rezar and sets up for Trouble In Paradise. Rezar then catches Kingston and hits him with a Fallaway Slam as R-Truth attacks Miz on the outside and delivers some right hands on him. Truth then hits a boot on Karrion Kross’ face, opening the door for Kingston to roll up Rezar for the win.

After the match, R-Truth celebrates with The New Day. The Final Testament and Miz then attack Truth from behind and Kingston looks to help Truth, but Woods holds him back in the entrance ramp and tells him not to get involved. The lights then go out and when they come back on, The Wyatt Sicks surround the ring and beats The Final Testament down to provide a helping hand to Truth. Joe Gacy and Erick Rowan then powerbomb Dexter Lumis onto the Authors of Pain and Karrion Kross and brawl through the crowd as Miz watches from the ring. Uncle Howdy then sneaks up behind Miz, but Paul Ellering pushes him out of the ring. Uncle Howdy then locks in the Mandible Claw on Ellering and puts him to sleep.
We then head to the back, where Jackie Redmond asks RAW General Manager Adam Pearce how he can get things under control. Bronson Reed then shows up and he was attacked by Seth Rollins. Security then shows up and Rollins jumps off a production crate onto Reed before they were pulled apart.
We then get a drone shot of Philadelphia while Tessitore speaks about it being a big sports week in the city.
We then get highlights of Jey Uso appearing on Smackdown and his exchange with Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline as well as with Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso. Jey Uso is then interviewed by Cathy Kelley in the backstage area. Jey says he was ironically in the city of Brotherly Love when he has no love for his brothers right now. Jey then says it is what it is. Jey then shifts his focus to defending his title and promises that the fans will hear and still at the end of the night.
We then get a video promo of Raquel Rodriguez talking about how Rhea Ripley took out Liv Morgan’s shoulder and cost them the tag team titles. Rodriguez then says Ripley should walk away. Rodriguez then says she knows Ripley will not do as she says, so she will be the one to end it.
We then see the handlers of the WWE Crown Jewel Championship belt once again.
Damage CTRL (IYO SKY and Kairi Sane) then make their way down to the ring. Meta-Four (Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson) are then shown standing in the front row. The Judgment Day’s WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez then make their way down to the ring with “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio.
The match starts off with Liv Morgan and IYO SKY. Morgan tags out to Rodriguez. SKY then puts Rodriguez in a Sleeper, but Rodriguez fights her off. Kairi Sane then makes the blind tag in and hits a hurricanrana on Rodriguez before she tags SKY back in. SKY and Sane then look to hit a double suplex on Rodriguez, but Rodriguez blocks them and looks to hit a double elbow drop on them. Sane and SKY then roll out of the way. Rodriguez then has Sane locked in a submission over one of her shoulders. Sane then escapes and looks to tag in SKY, but Rodriguez blocks her. SKY then manages to tag in Sane as Rodriguez tags out to Morgan. SKY then hits a dropkick on Morgan, then hits a second one off the top rope and kips up. SKY then hits a meteora on Morgan in the corner and goes for a pin, but Morgan kicks out. SKY then hits a bodyslam on Morgan, then tags in Sane. Sane then immediately tags out to SKY, then hits an elbow drop on Morgan with some assistance from SKY. SKY then goes for a pin, but Rodriguez breaks the fall and sends Sane crashing into the mat face first. Rodriguez then charges at Sane in the corner, but Sane moves out of the way and Rodriguez is sent crashing into the ring post shoulder first. Morgan then hits a step-up knee on SKY in the corner, then looks to fly off the middle rope. SKY then intercepts Morgan with a strike, then hits a dropkick off the apron and pulls Jakara Jackson into the ringside area. Lash Legend then hits her with a strike causing the disqualification, but Sane goes after Legend and sends her in the ring with SKY.

After the match, Jackson and Legend beat Damage CTRL down. Legend then hits a Lash Extension on SKY, but Morgan and Rodriguez stare them down. Rhea Ripley’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring. Ripley cinches in the Prism Trap on Morgan and sets up for Riptide, but Dominik Mysterio saves Morgan. Ripley then pulls Dominik in the ring and locks in the Prism Trap on him, but Rodriguez and Morgan pull him out of the ring to save him.
We then head to the back, where we see Seth “Freakin” Rollins approach RAW General Manager Adam Pearce. Bronson Reed then blindsides Rollins, but security pulls them apart and Pearce makes a match between Rollins and Reed official for WWE Crown Jewel.
LWO then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels then narrates a video package on the 2300 Arena (ECW Arena) hosting NXT on November 6th.
We then get a video vignette on The War Raiders. Erik and Ivar talk about how they suffered setbacks that would end most men, but they shed their armor and rose. They then speak about viking warrior ancestors and how they now raid for gold.
WWE World Tag Team Champions Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh and Carlito are then shown in The Judgment Day clubhouse when WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio arrives. Rodriguez gets fired up about what she wants to do to Rhea Ripley. Morgan then says they need to focus on Nia Jax. Bálor then says he and McDonagh can beat any team in the world and expresses his concern over Damian Priest going after the World Heavyweight Championship. Dominik then brings up the possibility that he can beat GUNTHER for the title and Carlito laughs at him. Rodriguez then asks what Carlito does and Carlito says he brings the cool factor. Carlito then says he will speak to Pearce about Dominik becoming world champion.
WWE NXT Champion Trick Williams is then shown in the front row and American Made make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
The match starts off with Julius Creed and Dragon Lee. Both men lock up and Rey Mysterio tags in, then Julius puts him in a delayed vertical suplex position. Julius then sends Rey crashing into the mat, then tags in Brutus Creed. Julius then sends Brutus crashing into Rey, then hits him with the Brutus Smash and tags Julius back in. Julius then gets Rey in an Electric Chair position, but Rey fights his way out and holds the middle rope open for Lee to fly and land on The Creed Brothers on the outside. Rey then hits a hurricanrana and an enzuigiri on Brutus from the apron. Rey then follows it up with a senton from the top rope, then goes for a pin but Brutus kicks out. Lee then sends Brutus out of the ring and climbs to the top, but Julius intercepts him. Lee then drapes Julius from the top rope, then hits him with double stomps. Rey then dropkicks Julius into the ropes and looks to dial it up for a 619. Gable then hops up on the apron and captures his attention, but Vega gets in their faces and hits a tijeras on Nile. This then opens the door for Rey to hit a hurricanrana on Julius into the ropes and dial it up for a 619. Lee then tags in and hits a Frog Splash on Julius for the win.

We then see a graphic list LWO (WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee) vs. New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) vs. The War Raiders (Erik and Ivar) in a WWE World Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Triple Threat Match for next week’s show.
We then head to the back, where RAW General Manager Adam Pearce is shown speaking with Damage CTRL (IYO SKY and Kairi Sane). Pearce assures them he will talk with the other general managers and figure out a solution. After they leave, Carlito shows up and says he had to learn Chinese. Carlito then recommends Dominik Mysterio as a challenger for GUNTHER. Pearce then laughs and asks if he’s serious. Pearce then says Dominik hasn’t done anything to earn that opportunity and questions why Dominik didn’t make the request. Carlito then says he’s the fixer, then begs Pearce. Pearce then says he will consider it if Dominik can beat a former world champion next week.
Bron Breakker is then interviewed by Jackie Redmond in the backstage area. Breakker says he respects Jey Uso, but Jey isn’t focussed because of his family drama. Breakker then says he will take the title back. Breakker then says he’s a badass and it is time to do what badasses do. Breakker then asks if there are any dogs in Philly. Fans then barks in response and Breakker make his way down to the ring for the main event.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER is then interviewed by Cathy Kelley. GUNTHER says Cody Rhodes drags his family into things and it was unnecessary for him to mention his daughter. GUNTHER then says Cody is one of many, whereas he is one of one. Damian Priest then shows up and tells GUNTHER to relax. Priest then says he has no issue with GUNTHER. Priest then says he handled his business with The Judgment Day and now he wants his title back. Priest then says he will earn the title shot just like he earns everything else. Priest then tells GUNTHER to handle his business at Crown Jewel and then he will have a big problem waiting for him.
WWE Intercontinental Champion “Main Event” Jey Uso then makes his way down to the ring for the main event.
The match starts off with both men staring each other down. They then deliver right hands on each other and Jey hits an open palm strike on Breakker and clotheslines him out of the ring. Breakker then mocks Jey and sends him crashing into the ring post spine first. Breakker then sends Jey’s head bouncing off the ring apron, then sends him back in the ring and sends him into the corner. Breakker then hits a standing Shooting Star Press on Jey, but Jey responds with an enzuigiri from the apron and looks to fly off the ropes. Breakker then intercepts Jey with a Frankensteiner and goes for the pin, but Jey kicks out. Jey then notices Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu emerge from the crowd. Sikoa then holds up one of Jey’s Yeet shirts and shows off the tickets he bought for himself and Fatu. Jey then asks Sikoa what he’s doing and Sikoa says he’s trying to help him retain the Intercontinental Championship. Breakker then looks to blindside Jey, but Jey sees him coming. Jey then sends Breakker crashing into the ring post head first as Tonga Loa appears behind Jey to encourage him. Jey then hits a superkick on him and takes down Tama Tonga with another one when he looks to fly off the barricade to land on him. Breakker then looks to blindside Jey with a spear, but Sikoa pushes Jey out of the way and takes the spear for himself.
Breakker then hits a jumping knee on Jey and sends him back in the ring, but Fatu stares down Breakker. Jey then nails them both with a tope suicida, then climbs to the top and looks to hit an Uso Splash. Breakker then gets his knees up and runs the ropes. Breakker then looks to hit the Super Spear, but Jey hits him with a couple of superkicks and a spear. Jey then climbs to the top and hits an Uso Splash on Breakker, then goes for a pin but Breakker kicks out. Adam Pearce and other officials then make their way down to the ring to escort Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa to the back. Jey then looks to hit a spear on Breakker, but Fatu nails him and hits him with a Samoan Drop on top of the announce desk. Breakker then sends Jey back in the ring and runs the ropes before hitting him with the Super Spear for the win.
The winner and new WWE Intercontinental Champion, Bron Breakker!
After the match, Breakker stands tall and celebrates his victory as the show comes to a close.
