CM Punk has had an action-packed few days, battling Drew McIntyre in a grueling Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood. Following that intense showdown, he made an appearance on RAW this week. However, he will be taking a break from WWE television for a while. Despite this current hiatus, his status for Survivor Series has been confirmed.
On the October 7th episode of RAW, CM Punk kicked off the show with heartfelt words for the audience. He thanked his fans, coworkers, and even his critics for their support, acknowledging that their negativity inspired him to push himself further. Punk shared that he was heading home to be with his wife, made a joke about needing to buy flowers, and expressed his gratitude to the fans. He also noted that he wasn’t sure when he would be back, leaving his return date uncertain.
The 2024 WWE Crown Jewel event is set to take place on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. We have reported CM Punk is not expected to be part of this upcoming show, which clarifies why he will be absent.
The Survivor Series Premium Live Event will be held in Vancouver on November 30 and there is obviously a ton of hype for the event. Naturally, fans wonder if that’s when Punk will come back. According to WrestleVotes on ‘WrestleVotes Radio’ as part of their Backstage Pass, CM Punk is slated to appear during the Survivor Series Premium Live Event next month.
”We’re told CM Punk is currently slated for the Survivor Series PLE, coming up in Vancouver.”
This certainly makes sense as CM Punk’s comeback at the 2023 Survivor Series Premium Live Event truly changed the course of WWE in a huge way. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether WWE will have big plans for the Second City Saint upon his return.
