Shotzi Blackheart has a pretty simple request for wrestling fans planning to meet her — take a shower and put on some damn deodorant. Otherwise, don’t expect to be getting a hug.

Speaking on Knockouts and 3 Counts, Shotzi was asked about wrestling locker-room etiquette and whether she had any pet peeves or advice for younger wrestlers coming into the business. The host threw out several answers he’d previously received, including bringing your own wrist tape, keeping your gear bag nearby, respecting locker-room seating and, most importantly for Shotzi, “wash your balls.”

That last one immediately got Shotzi’s attention, but her problem wasn’t really with people inside the locker room. Instead, she turned the advice toward some of the fans showing up at wrestling meet-and-greets.

“Man, I really like the ‘wash your balls’ one, because, man, there’s, like, a lot of stinky people. I mean, this is more so for the fans and not, like, the locker room. Like, you know, if you’re coming to—”

The host jumped in and noted that hygiene complaints involving fans had definitely come up before. Shotzi then made her rules for getting close to her at a meet-and-greet very clear — clean yourself up and wear deodorant.

“Yeah, yeah. If you’re coming to a meet-and-greet, wash your balls and wear deodorant. That’s super important. And then if you do that, you might get a nice hug from me. But if you’re stanky and you didn’t wash your balls, I’m not going to hug you. I’m not.”

So there you have it. Shotzi Blackheart isn’t asking fans to follow some complicated meet-and-greet rulebook — just handle the basics before showing up, especially if you’re hoping to walk away with a hug.

What do you make of Shotzi Blackheart’s brutally simple advice for wrestling fans attending meet-and-greets? Let us know what you think in the comments.
