Logan Paul’s impressive success in professional wrestling, especially his reign as the United States Champion, was something fans never expected. While he’s not the champion now, Kevin Nash definitely didn’t hold back on his opinion about The Maverick recently.
Logan Paul has been absent since the SummerSlam Premium Live Event, where he ended up dropping the United States Championship to LA Knight. It is to be noted that throughout his United States Title reign, he rarely defended it and made limited appearances on WWE television as well.
While speaking during the Kliq This TV podcast, Kevin Nash talked about Logan Paul not knowing wrestling terms, like when Paul told Hulk Hogan on his podcast that he didn’t know what “shoot” meant. Nash was frustrated, saying Logan isn’t part of the wrestling world and wouldn’t understand their language since he doesn’t travel with other wrestlers or spend time learning from them.
Nash also criticized how celebrities like Logan get paid a lot for a few appearances, while full-time wrestlers work hard at smaller shows for less money. He made it clear that even though Paul has a big following online, it doesn’t make him respected in the wrestling business.
“He’s not one of the boys. Where would he learn that sh*t at? Where’s he fu**ing going up and down the road, fu**ing talking about our fu**ing jargon? In the building? Everybody’s in their own fu**ing motor coach. There’s no fu**ing interaction. There’s no socialization. You don’t become one of the boys just because you’re around them. That motherfu**er, from what I heard, he’s making like 5 million bucks for a limited fu**ing, and those other motherfu**ers are out there making house shows, fu** you. I don’t give a fu** how many people are following you. If it said you had fu**ing 24 fu**ing million road scholars following you, motherfu**er, man, I would be like, ‘Dude, you are fucking Jesus.’ You got a bunch of fu**ing idiots.”
Logan Paul also plans to change his schedule from next year as he doesn’t want to have a limited schedule anymore. Regardless, we will have to wait and see if Paul will end up making more appearances next year, which is one of Kevin Nash’s biggest criticisms right now.
