At AEW Forbidden Door, Mercedes Mone and Stephanie Vaquer put their respective titles, the TBS Championship and NJPW Strong Women’s Championship, on the line in a highly anticipated match. Mone emerged victorious, but Vaquer made it clear that she’s keen on a rematch with Mone.

In a stunning showcase of in-ring talent, the CEO and Strong Champion delivered an unforgettable performance, demonstrating their remarkable abilities. Both competitors brought their best moves, each striving to seize the chance to become a double champion.

As the match reached its peak, Mercedes countered Stephanie’s attack with a brutal backstabber, then quickly executed her signature “Mone Maker” to clinch the victory and thus became the double champion.

While speaking to Emily Maeheller following her loss, Stephanie Vaquer was asked what’s next for her after the match. Vaquer noted that Mone was a great opponent but she will learn from her mistakes, making it clear that Vaquer will return and have a rematch with Mercedes Mone.

“I represented the NJPW Strong title all around the world, and I did it with my heart. Today Mercedes beat me, she’s a great opponent but l’l learn from my mistake. This is not the last time you see Stephanie Vaquer because I’ll be back and I want my rematch.
