Saraya recently faced a setback in her AEW career when her scheduled match on Dynamite was unexpectedly pulled.

Originally slated to compete against Mariah May on the May 29th episode of AEW Dynamite, the match was repeatedly promoted by the company. However, to the surprise of fans, it was abruptly postponed to the following week’s Dynamite without explanation.

During a Q&A session on Fightful Select’s podcast, Sean Ross Sapp shed light on the reason behind Saraya’s match being pulled. It appeared that there was a breakdown in communication, leading to the match being erroneously announced for that week instead of the intended schedule for the following week.

“There was some miscommunication this week that has seemed to have been rectified. I know she voiced her concerns. They explained their side of things. It’s something they are going to monitor. I don’t think the match was supposed to happen this week, despite it getting through to the Control Center show. I think it was supposed to be next week and there was a miscommunication, then heads started to roll.”

Saraya voiced her frustration with AEW following the match’s cancellation. However, fans can anticipate what AEW has in store for her as she prepares to face Mariah May on the upcoming episode of AEW Dynamite.

The question remains: Does Saraya deserve better treatment in AEW? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!
