Veteran wrestling commentator Jim Ross has been the voice of multiple generations of fans. Unfortunately, his health has been a concern as Ross frequently visits the hospital as seen over the years.

This week, Jim Ross shocked fans by sharing shocking news about an unexpected trip to the ER in Norman, OK, due to shortness of breath, but did not provide further details about his condition.

Another report stated that Jim Ross will not be able to attend AEW’s premier event, Double or Nothing this weekend due to Class A flu, raised heart enzymes, and ongoing breathing issues. Thankfully, it was also revealed that JR was receiving excellent medical care and is expected to be in good health in a few days.

Amidst his stay in the hospital, Jim Ross took to his X to seemingly confirm suffering from the aforementioned flu stating his ongoing process of recovering from the flu while watching tonight’s AEW Double or Nothing from the facility.
