WWE 2K24 Releases Highly-Anticipated ‘ECW Punk Pack’ DLC Alongside Major Patch Update

Excitement is in the air for fans of WWE 2K24 as the ‘ECW Punk Pack’ DLC has just dropped, marking a significant milestone for the game. Released on May 15, 2024, this DLC pack is the inaugural one for WWE 2K24 and brings back CM Punk as a playable character, a moment eagerly awaited since his last appearance in WWE 2K15.

Accompanying CM Punk are other legendary figures from the ECW era, including Bubba Ray Dudley, D-Von Dudley, Sandman, and Terry Funk. Additionally, the pack introduces various MyFaction content to enhance the gaming experience. Coinciding with this DLC launch, a fresh update, Patch 1.08, was rolled out on May 14, introducing numerous enhancements and features.

Patch 1.08 Highlights:

General Improvements:

• Enhanced stability across the game.
• New Entrance and Victory motions for Wolfgang, Mark Coffey, Chelsea Green, Piper Niven, Alba Fyre, Isla Dawn, Tony D’Angelo, and Channing Stacks Lorenzo.

Audio:

• Players can now choose the ring announcer in Universe match options.

Presentation:

• Fine-tuning of Super Finisher Visual Effects timing.
• Rectified issues where the user interface was obscured in ladder matches.
• Improved Blackout payback trigger timing.

Create-An-Arena (CAA):

• Custom arenas featuring RAW, Smack, SMACK, or NXT in their name will appropriately brand the referee.
• Corrected naming of SmackDown movie.
• Fixed concerns related to the video billboard customization.

Create-A-Superstar (CAS):

• Colorless emboss setting now saves correctly.
• Logos no longer shrink during 1st color editing.

Create-A-Entrance/Video/Show (CAE/CAVic/CAS):

• A prompt now appears when saving CAS, entrance, or victory, allowing for changes to be saved to Universe.

Deletion Utility:

• Custom Image category now displays space utilization specific to custom images.

MyFACTION & MyRISE:

• Various enhancements implemented.

Online:

• Enhanced stability for online gameplay.

Universe Mode:

• Addressed issues where players could select Superstars not assigned to the current show.
• Fixed concerns with match table and match generation.
