During the company’s slew of releases back in September last year, Mace and Mansoor were handed their release. This came as a shock for many fans who wanted to see them succeed in WWE. Thankfully, they have thrived in the indies and now Mace has revealed what’s next in store for the duo.

While speaking to Steve Fall of Ringside News, Mace shared insights into his upcoming plans and aspirations for his and Mansoor’s future. Mace revealed that he and Mansoor would be traveling to Japan for the first time, which is a big deal for him.

“We’ve got a lot of things planned for the near future; we’re very excited. We’re going to Japan at the beginning of June for Great Um, which is my dream. This will be my first trip to the Land of the Rising Sun, and I’m very excited.”

Mace was then asked if he and Mansoor plan on signing with a company or if they want to keep enjoying their rollercoaster ride of a career right now. Reflecting on his experiences in independent wrestling, Mace emphasized his love for the creative freedom it offers.

Keeping their options open, Mace revealed that he and Mansoor have been in discussions with various wrestling organizations including TNA after their backstage appearance this year, thus providing an update on their future plans.

“We have loved the indies; we’ve had such a good time. We want to continue to have a good time. We like the creative freedom and being able to do that.

We’re keeping all options open; we’ve been talking to everybody, honestly. We’ve been backstage at TNA; we’ve talked to people all over the place.”

Dijak even went to an indie show to show support to Mace and Mansoor as well. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether the dynamic duo will end up signing with a major promotion eventually.
