Gallus Lays Carnage Backstage in Their Return on 5/14 WWE NXT

The sight at the end of tonight’s edition of WWE NXT was supposed to close with a huge title change that happened. However, to the shock of the people in attendance at the Capitol Wrestling Center, it was a scene of carnage.

The main event of tonight’s show saw Tony D’Angelo dethrone Charlie Dempsey and claim the NXT Heritage Cup Championship. As he and his D’Angelo family were celebrating inside the ring, the scene shifted to the backstage area.

It was havoc in the entire area as the three contenders who will battle in a triple threat match for an opportunity at the NXT North American Championship, Wes Lee, Ivar, and Josh Briggs were seen laid out on the floor.

Just then, their attackers were revealed to be the faction members of Gallus, Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, and Wolfgang who made their return to NXT after months of making a huge statement with the vicious assault on three top NXT stars and claiming that it was just the start of things they had planned for their resurgence.
