This week on Monday Night RAW, the WWE Universe witnessed the first round of the Queen of the Ring tournament set to culminate at the name-sake event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in less than three weeks. Tonight’s edition of SmackDown saw the beginning of first-round matches from the blue side with multiple women emerging on top.

The first match of the evening saw Bloodline relatives Nia Jax and Naomi square off against each other. A hard-fought match between the Irresistible Force, Nia, and the dynamic Naomi ended in Jax switching off the GLOW to pick up the win and advance further in the tournament.

The second bout of the tournament saw the new one-half of the WWE Women’s tag team champion, Jade Cargill put down the threat of the dominant Piper Niven and her ally Chelsea Green, following a spectacular back-and-forth match to continue her momentum and move ahead in the prestigious tournament.

Immediately after Cargill’s victory, her tag team partner Bianca Belair was in action against Candice LeRae. Much like her partner, The EST of WWE followed suit despite interference from Indi Hartwell and emerged victorious against LeRae with a KOD to advance herself in the competition.
