Jey Uso has been on a roll since his win against his brother Jimmy Uso at WrestleMania 40. The former Bloodline member was retained by Raw as per the WWE Draft 2024 and challenged Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Backlash 2024.

Though the main event star failed to pick a win against Priest, he had a memorable time in France. While the fans in France were super loud throughout Smackdown and the Backlash PLE, they showed a different kind of love for Jey Uso during both his appearances.

With their flashlights on, lights out in the arena, everybody dancing and vibing to Jey Uso’s entrance music, it turned out to be one of the best PLE entrances in the history of WWE.

Addressing the same during an Exclusive interview with Cathy Kelley following the 5/6 WWE Raw episode, Jey revealed that he got emotional seeing the reaction from fans and felt the love of Bray Wyatt with the fireflies coming out during his entrance.

“Man, I said, yeet, yeet, maybe, I don’t know, I mean. Lay yeet. I mean, yeet elite, you know what I’m saying, France? Yeah, it was dope though, I mean, seeing all the fireflies came out. I got really emotional, I ain’t had much to talk about it, but a lot of people’s asking me what it was from my point of view, man. I just felt like Bray Wyatt was just showing love to me. That’s the first time I seen the fireflies appear, I feel like since he’s been gone, man, so I was really emotional seeing all that. And that happened to me, I was blessed for that, for sure. Really special moment, and hopefully many more special moments in Jey Uso’s future. Hey, can I get a yeet with that candy? Yeet. Yeet.”

Jey Uso won his match against Finn Balor to advance to the second round of the King of the Ring tournament. However, the star has a huge task ahead of him with Ilja Dragunov on the other side of the ring. It would be interesting to see how things play out between both men next week on Raw.
