Kenny Omega returned to AEW television programming last week months after being diagnosed with diverticulitis to a huge ovation from the audience, but had his night ruined by his former friends and rivals.

As mentioned, Omega reflected on his road to recovery, feeling scared about potentially having his wrestling career come to an end. But the end of the night saw Kenny Omega being subjected to a heinous assault by The Young Bucks, Kazuchika Okada, and Jack Perry, comprising The new Elite.

Following the events of last week, Kenny Omega appeared on tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite live via satellite from the hospital recuperating from his injuries sustained last week. He acknowledged that The Bucks claimed that attacking Omega was purely a business decision and as an EVP himself, he decided to get down to business.

Omega declared a huge 4-on-4 Anarchy In The Arena tag team match for AEW Double or Nothing pitting The Elite against Team AEW, comprising two men who dared to step up to them, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, FTR. As for the other two members, Kenny Omega revealed that The Elite would find themselves confronted by them later that night, igniting much excitement among the fans.
