Rey Fenix returned to the ring on the April 27th edition of AEW Collision, marking his first appearance since his defeat in October 2023. He was then set to compete at a House of Glory event, but he was pulled from the show after not being medically cleared to compete.

Fenix was scheduled to go head-to-head with his tag team partner and brother Pentagon Jr. at the House of Glory Cinco de Mayo event. However, the match has been canceled because Fenix wasn’t medically cleared to compete.

During the event, Pentagon took the stage to announce that his brother Fenix, could not be cleared for the match, disappointing fans in a big way as they wanted to see the brothers square off against each other again.

This is incredibly unfortunate news as Fenix had only just returned from injury. We will have to wait and see whether Rey Fenix will end up missing out on weeks’ worth of in-ring action again, depending on the severity of his injury.
