AEW WrestleDream is a brand-new event for AEW’S schedule, and the show had no shortage of action for fans. The #1 contender match for the AEW Tag Team Titles was quite a contest, and it also may have injured Rey Fenix in the process.

During AEW WrestleDream, The Gunns, Young Bucks, Lucha Bros, and Orange Cassidy and Hook faced off in a four-way tag team match. That match did not finish with Rey Fenix in the match, as he was apparently injured and taken to the back.

The Young Bucks won the match, and captured a future AEW World Tag Team Title shot. The real story may be Fenix, as they noted on commentary that he was being tended to by the medical team.

Fenix is supposed to defend the AEW International Title against Nick Jackson on AEW Dynamite. Hopefully, he will be able to wrestle in that match.
