Initial reports hinted at the potential need for Dominik to undergo Tommy John surgery to address his injury. However, in a reassuring development, Rey Mysterio’s estranged son himself confirmed that surgery would not be required, easing the concerns of his fans. Moreover, other provided insights into Dominik’s condition, revealed that Dom Dom has opted for course of physical therapy as part of his recovery plan.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dominik Mysterio is expected to return to action in six to eight weeks. The injury, as observed last week, was deemed a freak occurrence during his televised match with Andrade on April 15th.
