The Rock Responds to Tardiness Accusations with Behind-the-Scenes Photos from WrestleMania 40 Rehearsals

At WrestleMania 40, The Rock made a memorable return to the ring, teaming up with Roman Reigns for his first advertised match in 11 years. The duo faced off against Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes in an intense bout that lasted nearly 45 minutes. Despite the tough competition, The Rock and Roman Reigns managed to claim victory, with The Rock pinning Cody Rhodes to secure the win. A report claimed The Rock was several hours late for his match and now The Rock seemingly addressed the report as well.

The Rock faced criticism for his tardiness during events leading up to WrestleMania 40. According to two insiders who spoke with TheWrap, Johnson arrived three hours late before his main event match at WrestleMania 40. Similarly, he was two hours behind schedule for WWE World, WWE fan event in Philadelphia leading up to WrestleMania 40, resulting in boos from the crowd and negative feedback from local Philadelphia media.

Obviously, these painted The Rock in a negative light. In response to these, The Great One took to his Instagram and uploaded a few photos of himself rehearsing at WrestleMania 40, thereby proving that he was present at the show long before it began.

Even WWE denied the report that The Rock was late for WrestleMania 40. Regardless, The Rock is also eyeing return at WrestleMania 41, so we’ll have to see what WWE will have planned for him then.
