It’s Monday night, and you know what that means! The WWE Draft Night 2 episode of RAW will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the April 29, 2024 episode.

WWE RAW Results (4/29/2024):

The show opens up with WWE United States Champion Logan Paul shown arriving at the arena with IShowSpeed and Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Paul and Mahomes were welcomed by WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest and the rest of The Judgment Day. Priest congratulates Paul on his success and Paul returns the favour. Paul then says Priest will destroy the ugly Uso at Backlash. Judgment Day, Paul, IShowSpeed and Mahomes then enters the arena together.

Michael Cole and Pat McAfee then welcomes us to the show and goes over the 2024 WWE Draft rules while standing at ringside.

WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce and WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis are then shown in their respective war rooms to make their draft picks. The entire NXT locker room is then shown in the WWE Performance Center, hoping to hear their name called.

WWE Women’s World Champion “The Man” Becky Lynch then makes her way down to the ring to address the WWE Universe.

Becky Lynch starts off by saying The Man has come around to Kansas City and this is where The Man was born. Lynch then recalls standing on the steps of the T-Mobile Center after Nia Jax broke her nose and says she is standing in the ring nearly six years later still saying the same thing. Lynch then says with Night Two of the WWE Draft, a whole new division is waiting around the corner. Lynch then says her instinct is to hold her Women’s World Championship tight and never let it go, but titles are meant to be defended. Lynch then says a new #1 Contender must be found.

Liv Morgan’s music then hits and Morgan makes her way down to the ring. Morgan says if Lynch is looking for a new #1 Contender, she is there. Morgan then says the last thing she wanted was for Lynch to hand her a title opportunity, but she feels as though Lynch owes her one. Morgan then says the only reason Lynch is the champion is because of what she did and what Lynch couldn’t. Morgan then says it’s the Liv Morgan Revenge Tour and the endgame was always going to be her. Morgan then promises to not stop until she has everything she wants. Lynch then agrees that she wouldn’t be holding the Women’s World Championship if Morgan didn’t attack Ripley, but reminds Morgan that she wouldn’t be holding the title if it wasn’t for her.

Nia Jax’s music then hits and Jax makes her way down to the ring. Jax says she dominated both Lynch and Morgan in the Battle Royal last week and while she should be the new champion, they teamed up to make sure she wasn’t. Jax then says since it’s her last night on RAW tonight before she leaves for SmackDown, she is taking one thing with her. Morgan then hits Jax with a dropkick to send her crashing off the apron. Morgan then tells Jax that she accepts the #1 Contenders Match challenge she was about to issue to her.

“Main Event” Jey Uso, WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn and “Big” Bronson Reed were then shown arriving at the arena.

Stephanie McMahon then makes her way out to announce the first round draft picks of the 2024 WWE Draft Night 2.

Stephanie McMahon starts off by welcoming the fans to the second night of the 2024 WWE Draft. McMahon then announces that Imperium (“The Ring General” GUNTHER and Ludwig Kaiser) are the #1 pick of the 2024 WWE Draft and they will remain on RAW. McMahon then announces that Jade Cargill is the #2 pick of the 2024 WWE Draft and she will remain on SmackDown. McMahon then announces that Damage CTRL (WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Asuka and Kairi Sane, IYO SKY and Dakota Kai) is the #3 pick and they will move over to RAW. McMahon then announces that Kevin Owens is the #4 pick and he will remain on SmackDown.

We then get the entrances of the first match of the night, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Imperium’s “The Ring General” GUNTHER vs. The New Day’s Xavier Woods

The match starts off with GUNTHER going after Woods. Woods then hits GUNTHER with a forearm and sends him crashing out of the ring. Woods then goes for a dropkick through the middle rope, but GUNTHER nails him with a chop on the outside and sends Woods crashing into the ring apron. GUNTHER then hits Woods with a bodyslam. Woods then delivers a series of chops on GUNTHER, but GUNTHER nails Woods with one of his own. Woods then hits GUNTHER with a few more, but GUNTHER responds with one of his own on Woods in the corner and follows it up with a clothesline. Woods then delivers a few more chops on GUNTHER, then follows it up with a superkick on GUNTHER’s midsection.

GUNTHER and Woods then teeter on the top rope, but Woods pushes GUNTHER off and hits him with a dropkick. GUNTHER then blasts Woods with another chop, but Woods responds with a shoulder to GUNTHER’s midsection through the middle rope. Woods’ knee then gets caught between the bottom two ropes and GUNTHER lands some kicks on it. GUNTHER then nails Woods with a chop to his knee.

GUNTHER then hits Woods with a bodyslam. GUNTHER then places Woods on the top rope and hits him with a chop to his spine. GUNTHER then drapes Woods by his knees and nails him with several more chops as Woods clutches on to his knee. GUNTHER then climbs to the top rope and hits a Frog Splash on Woods, but Woods gets his knees up and goes for a kick on GUNTHER’s midsection. GUNTHER then nails Woods with a chop and puts Woods in a Half Boston Crab. Kingston then almost throws in a white towel, but Woods begs him not to throw it inside the ring. Kingston then throws it out into the crowd and Woods comes close to making to the bottom rope. Woods then tries fighting his way out, but GUNTHER puts Woods in an STF and Woods taps out.

We then head to the back, where Cathy Kelley is interviewing “Main Event” Jey Uso. Kelley asks Uso if he was feeling any pressure, but Uso said no and that Priest would receive a Yeet-down at Backlash. Kelley then asks Uso about Logan Paul’s earlier comment. Jey says he is glad they signed a Paul brother, but wishes it was the one with a winning record.

Patrick Mahomes was then shown in the first row and Samantha Irvin announces him to a big reaction from the crowd. Kansas City Chiefs players Trey Smith and Creed Humphrey were shown as well. We then get a video of Smith and Humphrey joining a young fan in the ring before the show began.

WWE United States Champion Logan Paul and IShowSpeed then make their way out to announce the second round draft picks of the 2024 WWE Draft Night 2.

IShowSpeed starts off by announcing that the #1 pick of the second round of the 2024 WWE Draft is CM Punk and that he will remain on RAW. Logan Paul then announces that the #2 pick of the second round of the 2024 WWE Draft is The Pride (“The All Mighty” Bobby Lashley, Montez Ford, Angelo Dawkins and B-Fab) and they will stay on SmackDown. IShowSpeed then announces that the #3 pick of the second round of the 2024 WWE Draft is Braun Strowman and that he has moved to RAW. Paul then announces that the #4 pick of the second round of the 2024 WWE Draft is Tiffany Stratton and she will remain on SmackDown.

WWE United States Champion Logan Paul then makes his way down to the ring and says “Main Event” Jey Uso ran his mouth about him in a backstage interview with Cathy Kelley earlier tonight. Paul then says Damian Priest will retain his World Heavyweight Championship at Backlash and Jey is incapable of becoming a champion.

Jey’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Jey says he wants to hear what Kansas City has to say about Paul’s comments and asks them if he should beat Logan Paul down. Paul then asks Jey if he can out-Yeet him and asks if he’s really trying to roast him. Paul then says Jey isn’t good alone and says there is a reason he got kicked out of The Bloodline. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh then make their way down to the ring as Paul points out that Jey is alone.

Jey then starts beating McDonagh and Balor down, but Balor and McDonagh overpower him as Paul slides out of the ring and makes his way over to Patrick Mahomes to grab his three Superbowl rings. Paul then slides back in the ring and McDonagh holds Jey in place. Paul then looks to nail Jey with the rings, but Jey moves out of the way and Paul ends up hitting McDonagh instead. Balor and Paul then look to double team Jey, but Braun Strowman’s music hits and Strowman makes his way down to the ring. Paul then slides out of the ring and Strowman hits a chokeslam on Balor. Paul then retreats through the crowd and Strowman confronts Mahomes and a couple of his Kansas City Chiefs teammates. Jey then calms Strowman down and both men head to the back.

We then head to the back, where we see Chad Gable shake hands to make a deal with WWE World Tag Team Champion R-Truth official regarding the WWE Draft. Truth then explains to The Miz that he made sure they wouldn’t be drafted from RAW to the NFL and Miz informs Truth that won’t be an issue. Truth and Miz then leave and WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn appears out of nowhere to superkick Gable.

We then see Cathy Kelley ask WWE Hall of Famer Booker T for his thoughts on the draft so far. Booker says he liked the picks of Cargill and Punk. Drew McIntyre then shows up behind Booker. McIntyre then asks Booker if he thinks it makes sense for the guy who’s had one match this year before getting injured to get drafted over the guy who won the world title at WrestleMania. Booker then asks McIntyre where that title was now. McIntyre then says he knew Booker back in the day and he knows how Booker really felt about Punk. McIntyre then tells Booker that he has changed.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is the WWE Intercontinental Championship Match.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Sami Zayn (c) vs. “Big” Bronson Reed

The match starts off with Zayn hitting some chops on Reed, but Reed responds with a headbutt on Zayn. Reed then lands some right hands on Zayn, but Zayn sends Reed out of the ring. Zayn then nails Reed with a kick, then hits him with an Asai Moonsault off the ropes. Zayn then gets Reed back inside the ring, then climbs to the top rope and goes for a crossbody. Reed then catches Zayn and sends him crashing into the top turnbuckle. Reed then hits Zayn with a slam and a running senton. Zayn then looks to fly off the ropes, but Reed catches him and hits him with a chokeslam. Reed then hits Zayn with a Buckle Bomb in the corner, then follows it up with a sit-out powerbomb in the middle of the ring. Both men then end up on the outside and Reed hits Zayn with a flying shoulder tackle off the apron. Reed then sends Zayn back in the ring, then follows him. Zayn then hits Reed with a Helluva Kick, but as soon as he gets in the ring and goes for a pin, Chad Gable breaks up the pinfall attempt with a German suplex and the referee calls for the bell.

After the match, Gable continues to beat Zayn down and puts him in an Ankle Lock. Another referee then makes his way down to the ring to get Gable off Zayn, but Reed hits Zayn with a Tsunami. Gable then grabs the Intercontinental Championship and looks to hold it up, but Reed gets Gable up on his shoulders and hits him with a Death Valley Driver. Reed then grabs the Intercontinental Championship and holds it up.

WWE Hall of Famers the APA (JBL and Ron Simmons) then make their way out to announce the third round draft picks of the 2024 WWE Draft Night 2.

JBL starts off by announcing that LWO (WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, Carlito, Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, Dragon Lee and Zelina Vega) is the #1 pick of the third round of the 2024 WWE Draft and they will be moving over to RAW. Ron Simmons then announces that the #2 pick of the third round of the 2024 WWE Draft is Legado Del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Elektra Lopez, Angel and Berto) and they will remain on SmackDown. JBL then announces that the #3 pick of the third round of the 2024 WWE Draft is Drew McIntyre and that he will remain on RAW. Simmons then announces that the #4 pick of the third round of the 2024 WWE Draft is Shinsuke Nakamura and that he will be moving over to SmackDown.

Drew McIntyre’s music then hits and McIntyre makes his way out. McIntyre expresses his frustrations with not being drafted until the third round and with CM Punk. McIntyre says Punk fractured his elbow at WrestleMania 40 when he attacked him. Punk’s music then hits, but Punk doesn’t show himself on the ramp. Punk appears in a suite and calls McIntyre a little b***h. McIntyre then storms to the back and in Punk’s direction.

We then head to the back with Alpha Academy, where Maxxine Dupri expresses her excitement for her upcoming match. Chad Gable then puts her hopes down and asks her where her Women’s World Championship is. Gable then voices his frustrations with Akira Tozawa and Otis and tells them to win the World Tag Team Championship.

Cathy Kelley is then interviewing Bron Breakker. Breakker starts off by saying RAW General Manager Adam Pearce knew he was the best pick because he was on Raw to take over. Sheamus then approaches Breakker and Breakker got in his face for interrupting. Sheamus then tells Breakker to calm down. Sheamus then says he is impressed with Breakker as Breakker reminds him of a younger version of himself. Sheamus then stops speaking when he sees McIntyre storm by, but Breakker didn’t seem to care about Sheamus’ compliments.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Candice LeRae vs. Alpha Academy’s Maxxine Dupri

The match starts off with Dupri sending LeRae’s head repeatedly crashing into the mat. Dupri then hits LeRae with a kick and a Fisherman’s Suplex, then follows it up with a Bulldog and a reverse Caterpillar. LeRae then goes for an enzuigiri, but Dupri avoids it and puts LeRae in an Ankle Lock. Hartwell then nails Nile on the outside, allowing LeRae to take the advantage and blindside Dupri. LeRae then delivers a kick on Dupri’s jaw and follows it up with the Wicked Step-Mother for the win.

We then head to the back, where Cathy Kelley is interviewing the LWO. WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio starts off by telling Kelley that the group had mixed emotions, but they were excited to be on RAW. Rey then says he has unfinished business with Carlito. “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio then shows up to mock the LWO and tell them that Judgment Day runs RAW. Rey then says that is funny given that Dominik hasn’t been drafted yet. Rey then asks Dominik, “What’s that on your lip, Dirty Sanchez.” Dominik then backs away and says, “You’re lucky I’m not cleared.”

We then see “The Scottish Warrior” Drew McIntyre storm around the arena looking for CM Punk in his suite. Someone then points McIntyre in the right direction, but all McIntyre finds is an autograph from Punk. Punk’s music then hits and Punk appears on the ramp. Punk then grabs a mic and says he wants to keep it brief. Punk starts off by saying he would normally ask McIntyre if he has his attention, but McIntyre is already giving him all his attention. Punk then says he prayed for McIntyre to get injured after McIntyre did the same when he tore his tricep, but he was drafted before McIntyre because of simple economics. Punk then says he is the best in the ring and on commentary and losers hope and pray for things to happen. Punk then says winners make things happen and when he is medically cleared, he will make McIntyre’s life a living hell.

WWE Hall of Famers Teddy Long and Alundra Blayze then make their way out to announce the fourth round draft picks of the 2024 WWE Draft Night 2.

Teddy Long starts off by announcing that the #1 pick of the fourth round of the 2024 WWE Draft is The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh) and they will remain on RAW. Blayze then announces that the #2 pick of the fourth round of the 2024 WWE Draft is Naomi and she will remain on SmackDown. Long then announces that the #3 pick of the fourth round of the 2024 WWE Draft is Ilja Dragunov and that he has been called up to RAW. Blayze then announces that the #4 pick of the fourth round of the 2024 WWE Draft is Chelsea Green and Piper Niven and that they will be moving over to SmackDown.

Ilja Dragunov was then shown reacting live at the WWE Performance Center while the locker room was giving him a standing ovation. Shawn Michaels then embraces Dragunov and gives him a RAW hat.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a WWE Women’s World Championship #1 Contender’s Match.

WWE Women’s World Championship #1 Contender’s Match: Liv Morgan vs. Nia Jax

The match starts off with Jax shoving Morgan. Jax then sends Morgan across the ring and hits her with a splash in the corner. Jax then sends Morgan across the ring once again. Morgan then hits Jax with a few kicks and an enzuigiri, then follows it up with a dropkick and a second one on Jax’s spine. Morgan then continues wearing Jax down in the corner, but Jax blasts Morgan and hits her with a stomp. Jax then goes for the A-Nia-Lator, but Morgan trips her and looks to fly from under the bottom rope. Jax then catches Morgan and sends her face bouncing into the announce desk as we see Tiffany Stratton watching the action from the crowd.

Jax then wears Morgan down with a submission hold. Morgan then escapes and sends Jax crashing into a ring post shoulder first, then follows it up with a dropkick and repeatedly sends Jax’s head bouncing off a ring post. Morgan then climbs to the top, but Jax trips her and hits her with a Samoan Drop. Morgan then sends Jax into the middle turnbuckle face first, then follows it up with a double stomp to her spine. Morgan then runs the ropes, but Jax stops Morgan and hits her with a spinebuster. Jax then drags Morgan into the corner. Jax then goes for the A-Nia-Lator, but Morgan escapes and sends Jax’s head bouncing off the top rope. Naomi then appears out of nowhere and blindsides Stratton in the crowd. Naomi then sends Stratton’s head bouncing off the announce desk and hits her with a kick off the apron. Jax then nails Naomi, allowing Morgan to take advantage. Morgan then hits Jax with a codebreaker and an Oblivion for the win.

We then head to the back, where Cathy Kelley once again asks WWE Hall of Famer Booker T about the draft and he congratulates Dragunov on getting selected. Booker then mentions WWE NXT Champion Trick Williams and WWE NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez as potential future picks. Kelley then approaches RAW General Manager Adam Pearce and asks about his feelings so far. Pearce says he is happy Smackdown took Chelsea Green.

WWE Hall of Famer The Dudley. Boyz then make their way out to announce the fifth round draft picks of the 2024 WWE Draft Night 2.

Bubba Ray Dudley starts off by announcing that the #1 pick of the fifth round of the 2024 WWE Draft is The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and that they will remain on RAW. D-Von Dudley then announces that the #2 pick of the fifth round of the 2024 WWE Draft is Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson) and that they will remain on SmackDown. Bubba Ray then announces that the #3 pick of the fifth round of the 2024 WWE Draft is Lyra Valkyria and that she has been called up to RAW. D-Von then announces that the #4 pick of the fifth round of the 2024 WWE Draft is Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell and that they will be moving to SmackDown.

We then see Lyra Valkyria reacting live as the NXT locker room gives her a big ovation.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a WWE World Tag Team Championship Match.

WWE World Tag Team Championship Match: Awesome Truth (R-Truth and The Miz) (c) vs. Alpha Academy (Otis and Akira Tozawa)

The match has already started and The Miz and Otis are tagged in. Miz then hits the IT Kicks on Otis. Miz then hits Otis with a jawbreaker, then sends Akira Tozawa crashing into the mat. Miz then hits Otis with another kick to his head. Otis then hits Miz with a World’s Greatest Powerslam and The Caterpillar, then tags Tozawa in. R-Truth then tags in and Awesome Truth hits The Truth Crushing Finale on Tozawa for the win.

We then head to the back, where Dominik Mysterio was clearly annoyed that the Judgment Day only got selected on the fourth round. Priest says they shouldn’t be surprised. Priest then tells them to stick to the plan and get it done tonight in their match.

RAW General Manager Adam Pearce and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis then make their way out to announce the sixth and final round draft picks of the 2024 WWE Draft Night 2.

Adam Pearce starts off by announcing that the #1 pick of the sixth and final round of the 2024 WWE Draft is The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Akam, Rezar, Paul Ellering and Scarlett) and that will be moving to RAW. Aldis then announces that the #2 pick of the sixth and final round of the 2024 WWE Draft is #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) and that they will be moving to SmackDown. Pearce then announces that the #3 pick of the sixth and final round of the 2024 WWE Draft is “Big” Bronson Reed and that he will remain on RAW. Aldis then announces that the last pick of the sixth and final round of the 2024 WWE Draft is Blair Davenport and that she has been called up to SmackDown.

Blair Davenport was then shown looking completely shocked and the NXT locker room gives her an ovation. It is then shown that Davenport’s scouting report mentions that she is described as “gothic charisma meets cold-hearted fury.” McAfee then seems baffled by “gothic charisma” and Cole quickly moves on.

We then get the entrances of the main event, which is a 6-Man Tag Team Match.

6-Man Tag Team Match: “Main Event” Jey Uso, Ricochet and Andrade vs. The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor, JD McDonagh and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest)

The match starts off with Andrade and Balor. Balor nails Andrade with his shoulders on Andrade’s midsection. Balor then sends Andrade into the ropes, but Andrade poses. Andrade then sends Balor and an interfering McDonagh out of the ring, then tags Ricochet in. Ricochet and Andrade then hits a double clothesline on Priest and sends him out of the ring and follows it up with a double tope suicida on Balor and McDonagh before Jey hits a tope suicida of his own on Priest. Priest then hits Ricochet with a Broken Arrow and goes for a pin. Ricochet kicks out and Priest then hits Ricochet with kick. Priest then hits a spinning right hand on Ricochet and follows it up with a kick on Jey on the apron. Andrade then tries to interfere, but the referee stops him. Balor and McDonagh then take advantage and beat Ricochet down in the corner. McDonagh then tags in and hits a moonsault on Ricochet. Balor then tags back in and hits a backbreaker on Ricochet before Priest hits a leg drop on Ricochet as Balor holds him in place.

Balor and Jey are now tagged in and Jey delivers some strikes on Balor. Jey then hits Balor with an open palm strike and an, then follows it up with an open palm strike on Priest on the apron. Jey then climbs to the top and hits the Uso Splash on Balor, then goes for a pin. McDonagh then breaks up the pinfall and Andrade takes him down. Priest then hits Andrade and Ricochet and tags in. Priest then hits Jey with a clothesline, but Jey responds with a Samoan Drop and climbs to the top. Dominik then jumps up on the apron and distracts the referee. Priest then looks to chokeslam Jey off the apron, but McDonagh pushes him. Priest then yells at McDonagh and Jey hits a superkick to the both of them. Jey then hits a Spear on Balor and follows it up with an Uso Splash for the win.

The winners of the 6-Man Tag Team Match, “Main Event” Jey Uso, Ricochet and Andrade!

After the match, Priest holds up his World Heavyweight Championship and stares Jey Uso down as the show comes to a close.
