Trick Williams Reveals Feelings About Carmelo Hayes Being Drafted To WWE SmackDown

Carmelo Hayes’ friendship with Trick Williams was one of the best things about NXT but he ultimately betrayed him at NXT Vengeance Day and after a lot of drama, the two finally faced each other at NXT Stand & Deliver, where Williams won. The same thing happened on NXT last week. Williams has now revealed his true feelings about Carmelo Hayes being drafted to SmackDown.

Trick Williams would then end up winning the NXT Championship on this week’s episode of NXT and this prompted even Carmelo Hayes to give an appropriate reaction to his friend turned nemesis.

Carmelo Hayes was drafted to SmackDown on the opening night of the 2024 WWE Draft, marking significant shift in the roster. In a SmackDown Exclusive, Trick Williams was asked about his thoughts on Hayes moving to SmackDown. He expressed his enthusiasm and made it clear he was happy for Hayes.

“Yo, I’m super hyped, super excited for Carmelo Hayes. He is a phenomenal talent. As everybody knows, he is him. However, I do think it’s extremely bold to call out Cody Rhodes your first day on the job, but hey, do what the people told you to do, whoop that trick.”

Even Triple H praised Carmelo Hayes after his solid performance. Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see how Carmelo Hayes will fare on Friday Night SmackDown as fans want him to succeed in a big way.
