Former Impact World Champion Steve Maclin had a lot of momentum last year but injuries halted his momentum for a while. Even then, there’s no denying he is a top star in TNA and he has now confirmed his status with the company.

WWE released Steve Cutler from his contract as part of their pandemic cuts and he is now working in TNA Wrestling. He joined the promotion in the summer of 2021 and has been a mainstay since then.

While speaking on Fightful’s podcast, Steve Maclin was about him being handed a contract at TNA Rebellion and whether he signed a new contract. Maclin confirmed that he did, in fact, sign a new deal.

”I have, as of now I am currently re-signed with TNA. We’ve been going back for months for a list of demands. With the rebrand and everything, I felt that signing back with TNA and the creative freedom I have and lots of unfinished business I have in TNA, I am looking forward to the future in TNA.”

Steve Maclin was defeated by Mike Santana at the TNA Rebellion pay-per-view. Regardless, we will have to wait and see how Maclin will end up being booked now that he will remain with the company for the foreseeable future.
