AEW is gearing up for the sixth edition of the same pay-per-view that got the ball rolling for them in the world of professional wrestling, Double or Nothing, set to take place on May 26 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in the Las Vegas suburb of Paradise, Nevada.

One of the enthralling pay-per-view shows for the company, this edition of AEW Double or Nothing is looking to be a memorable one with their current talent pool and recent successful events with an exciting title match added to the card.

On tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite, a Casino Gauntlet match pitted some of the top AEW stars against each other with an opportunity to challenge AEW International Champion Roderick Strong at Double or Nothing.

The bout saw the likes of Lance Archer, Jay White, Dante Martin, and Penta El Zero go head-to-head with each other. The match came down to Kyle O Reilly and Will Ospreay with the Aerial Assasin triumphing over O Reilly to win the Gauntlet and earn his first AEW title match against Roderick Strong.

On the other hand, the first match confirmed for AEW Double or Nothing was Willow Nightingale defending her AEW TBS title against Mercedes Mone in her debut match. The bout was made official following Nightingale’s victory over Julia Hart at AEW Dynasty last week and picking up a heated rivalry from the past year between her and the CEO.
