After a successful career across various wrestling promotions, Matt Hardy became free agent when his AEW contract expired. He returned to TNA at the Rebellion pay-per-view, where he has since solidified his position with the promotion.

After Moose successfully defended the TNA World Title against Nic Nemeth, the arena was hit with an unexpected twist. Just as the crowd began to settle from the intense match, the lights suddenly went out, plunging the venue into complete darkness. In the ensuing silence, a familiar and sinister laughter filled the air, sending a shiver down the spine of everyone in attendance. It was unmistakably the laugh of Matt Hardy.

When the lights flickered back on, Hardy stood in the ring, much to the shock of Moose and the stunned audience. Without wasting a moment, Hardy struck with his signature move, the Twist of Fate, leaving Moose down and out. The crowd erupted into applause and cheers, recognizing the return of the wrestling legend.

As the event drew to a close, Hardy picked up the TNA World Title and hoisted it high above his head, signifying his return and his intention to reclaim his position at the top of the promotion.
