Jim Ross Credits WWE’s Decision For Keeping Logan Paul as a Part-Timer

Logan Paul has utilized his magnanimous social media fame and fighting background to blend the perfect recipe for emerging as one of the most exciting and top-tier WWE superstars of this generation.

Debuting for the company at WrestleMania 38, Logan Paul, although has been featured in only twelve matches, each of those performances has been one level beyond the last one making him a credible star in terms of in-ring acumen that even John Cena wished that WWE had brought him to the company years ago.

The Maverick has stepped up to deliver exceptional in-ring matches against top stars like The Miz, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio who he defeated last summer to capture his first championship in the company, the WWE United States Title.

AEW commentator Jim Ross, during the recent edition of his Grillin JR podcast, credited WWE’s booking for Logan Paul as an extraordinary talent, while applauding their decision to present him as a part-time attraction for the right reasons.

“I don’t know who, behind the scenes, is coaching him, working with him. I don’t know. “But, he’s pretty extraordinary, for someone who has had twelve matches and performs at the level he has. He’s in great shape, he takes amazing bumps, he’s easy to dislike. I’m a Logan Paul fan, I think they’ve got a keeper. The fact that he’s not wrestling every week on Raw or SmackDown is probably very, very smart, inadvertently maybe, I don’t know, but it’s very smart that he’s not being over-exposed. Hell of a performer, I’ll tell you that. He’s a hell of a performer.”

Logan Paul is coming off a huge win, defeating both Randy Orton and Kevin Owens in triple threat match on WrestleMania 40 Sunday to retain his WWE United States Championship.

With The Maverick looking to ascend to the top of the WWE food chain, it will be interesting to see what the company has in store next for Logan Paul moving forward.
