WWE operates with numerous moving parts to maintain its current status as a well-oiled machine, but recent developments indicate a shift in its organizational structure. Dan Ventrelle, who held the position of WWE’s Head of Talent Relations, has been removed from his role.

According to a report circulating within wrestling circles, Dan Ventrelle’s tenure as WWE’s Head of Talent Relations has come to an end. This information has been independently confirmed by Ringside News and also Dave Meltzer from Wrestling Observer, which has verified Ventrelle’s departure from the position.

WWE circulated an email to its staff addressing Ventrelle’s departure. Moving forward Shawn Michaels will now oversee talent development and recruitment, with Chris Leentil and Matt Altman spearheading these efforts to Paul Levesque.

“WWE has begun the process of reorganizing its Talent Relations group. Moving forward, Chris Legentil, in addition to his role in Comms, will help us in leading this new group. Matt Altman, in addition to his role in marketing, will be working closely with Chris to help this endeavor.

Talent Development and Recruiting will now report to Shawn Michaels.

All of Talent, which includes Talent Relations, Development and Recruiting will continue to ultimately report into Paul Levesque.
