John Cena Teams Up With Awesome Truth to Get Massive Tag Team Victory on 4/8 WWE Raw

WrestleMania 40 was filled with surprises. Night One of the show featured a massive tag team ladder match where new Tag Team Champions were crowned. Grayson Waller and Austin Theory became the Smackdown Tag Team Champions while R-Truth and The Miz clinched Raw Tag Team title victory. 

Following their massive title victory, the duo featured on the 4/8 episode of WWE Raw and confronted the Judgment Day when R-Truth challenged them for a six-man tag team match, which his third partner being ‘the man you can’t see’. Action kicked off as a handicap match with the Judgment Day using the numbers game against the new champion.

However, just when the match was going in the trio’s favour, John Cena made a surprise appearance to be Awesome Truth’s partner to even the odds. The trio then delivered attitude adjustments to everyone pinning all the three members of the Judgment day simultaneously to get a win.

John Cena might go back to Hollywood following his victory on the 4/8 episode of WWE Raw. On the other hand, Awesome Truth is expected to have an incredible Raw Tag Team title reign with a plethora of new tag team storylines possible.
