Andrade Sides with Rey Mysterio & LWO on 4/5 WWE SmackDown

The WWE Universe can surely anticipate a lot of twists and turns at The Showcase of the Immortals, WrestleMania 40 is just 24 hours away. However, the surprise element saga kicked off already on tonight’s edition of SmackDown.

The tensions between Rey Mysterio’s LWO and Santos Escobar’s Legado Del Fantasma saw another collision course, with their female members, Zelina Vega and Electra Lopez squaring off in a one-on-one showdown.

Interestingly, alongside Santos Escobar, Electra was also accompanied by Legado’s new ally, Dirty Dominik Mysterio, and the surprise appearance of Andrade El Idolo who has been a prospect for Dom’s group, Judgment Day for weeks.

The match between Vega and Lopez after weeks of their personal tensions came head-to-head in a fast-action match on SmackDown. However, a timely distraction by Dominik Mysterio gave Electra the opening to connect her finisher and pin Zelina for the win.

Following the bout, as Rey Mysterio was checking on La Muneca, Santos and Dominik attacked the WWE Hall of Famer from behind. Just as Andrade was looking to join them in the assault, he shocked the WWE Universe and immediately switched sides, taking out both Dom and Escobar and aligning with Rey Mysterio and her former associate, Zelina Vega in a moment to witness before WrestleMania 40.
