Chelsea Green found herself in an unexpected predicament recently when her popularity seemingly failed to reach the staff of her hotel.

The former Women’s Tag Team Champion took to social media to share an unfortunate case of mistaken identity she encountered after a memorable night at the Barclays Center following a RAW event.

In post accompanied by a photo, Green recounted her experience, likening it to a scene from the movie “Pretty Woman” where her profession was misconstrued by hotel staff.

“Man… one night you’re wrestling at Barclays Center, having the time of your life and the next you’re being kicked out of @FairmontHotels and accused of being an escort because of your outfit. Life is funny! Maybe next year I won’t celebrate Wrestlemania weekend at The Plaza Hotel LOL…” she wrote.

Despite the incident, Green remains upbeat and continues to celebrate WWE’s biggest weekend of the year. While she currently doesn’t have a match booked for WrestleMania 40, she’s back on the WWE roster after a short stint in 2021. Her return at the 2023 Royal Rumble, as one of the Superstars Triple H wanted back, marked a new chapter for her in WWE, where she joined the Raw brand and embraced the persona of a ‘Karen’.

Although her reign as Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside Piper Niven came to an end, Green remains hopeful for her next opportunity in WWE. With her resilience and determination, she aims to avoid any more cases of mistaken identity and continue making her mark in the wrestling world.

What are your thoughts on Chelsea Green’s recent experience at the hotel, where she was mistaken for an escort due to her outfit?
