Maxxine Dupri is currently the lifeblood of The Alpha Academy and she has continuously supported them no matter what. However, the Academy failed to win a big match on NXT this week and she has now vowed they will win gold in the future.

On the March 26 episode of WWE NXT, Alpha Academy, represented by Otis and Akira Tozawa, faced NXT Tag Team Champions Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin. A win would have secured their spot in the tag team title match at NXT Stand & Deliver, but Breakker and Corbin emerged victorious.

In an NXT Exclusive, Alpha Academy addressed their loss. Maxxine Dupri noted their disappointment but praised her teammates’ performance. She emphasized the need to regroup with Coach Gable, go back to the drawing board, and devise a game plan because she firmly believes her boys will eventually claim championship gold.

“It’s bittersweet to be back. It’s always nice, but things didn’t end the way that we wanted them to. But at the end of the day, my boys put on a hell of a match. From here, we have to go back and meet with Coach Gable. We gotta go back to the drawing board, we gotta figure out a game plan because all I know is that my boys will have gold around their waists.”
