It’s Tuesday night and you know what that means! WWE NXT will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the March 26, 2024 episode.

WWE NXT Results (3/26/2024):

The show opens up with Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T welcoming us. Dijak and Shawn Spears then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Shawn Spears vs. Dijak

The match starts off with Dijak hitting Spears with a shoulder block. Dijak then clotheslines Spears over the top rope. Spears then kicks Dijak’s legs out from under him as he tries to get back into the ring. Spears then hits a dive on Dijak. Spears then sends Dijak back into the ring. Dijak then hits Spears with a tope. Spears then clutches at his knee and Dijak and Spears trade strikes. Dijak then hits a backbreaker on Spears. Spears then delivers a nasty chop on Dijak followed by a headbutt. Dijak then goes up top for a moonsault, but Spears cuts him off and hits a German suplex on Dijak from the top rope. Spears then dropkicks Dijak out of the ring. As Spears is talking trash to Dijak against the barricade, Joe Gacy slides from under the ring, smiles and slides back under the ring. As Dijak is trying to get back in the ring, Spears hits him with a hangman’s lung blower.

Dijak then hits a clothesline on Spears then follows that up with a series of chops. Dijak then hits Spears with a suplex and calls for his High Justice finisher. Spears turns it into a roll up, but Dijak kicks out. Spears then hits a superkick on Dijak and Dijak immediately responds with a discus boot, but Spears kicks out. Spears then escapes the Feast Your Eyes attempt by Dijak with elbows. Spears then goes for the C4, but Dijak escapes. Spears then hits a DDT on Dijak. Dijak then misses a springboard elbow drop and Spears looks for the chair he brought to the ring, but it’s gone. Dijak then hits the High Justice, but Spears kicks out. Dijak then goes for a superkick, but Spears blocks it. Dijak then goes for another superkick and almost decapitates Spears. Dijak then hits his Feast Your Eyes finisher on Spears for the win.

After the match, Joe Gacy appears once again as he stands on the commentary desk and swings Spears’ chair around.

We then see a bunch of talent earlier today who isn’t booked for NXT Stand & Deliver make their pitches to host the PLE.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Chase U’s Thea Hail vs. Jazmyn Nyx

The match starts off with Hail hitting a crossbody on Nyx, but Nyx gets to her feet. Hail then hits a series of strikes on Nyx followed by an exploder suplex. Jayne then distracts Hail, which allows Nyx to roll up Hail for a near fall. Nyx then hits Hail with a running knee strike and continues to work over Hail. Jayne then grabs Andre Chase’s towel and throws it into the ring while Hail is in a submission hold. Riley Osborne then rolls into the ring and catches the towel. The referee. then ejects Chase U from ringside. Jayne then gets on the apron and an upset Hail screams that she thought Jayne was her friend. Jayne then screams back that she was never her friend. Jayne then slaps Hail and Hail falls into a roll up from Nyx. Hail then kicks out and puts Nyx in a Kimura. Nyx then submits, which leads to Hail winning the match and Hail hyperextends Nyx’s arm.

After the match, Jacy Jayne attacks Thea Hail from behind. Kiana James and Izzi Dame then make their way down to the ring to join Jayne laying waste to Hail. Fallon Henley and Kelani Jordan then make their way down the ring to make the save and even the odds.

We then get a video presented by the upcoming TV series Prime Target of Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams looking back at their friendship and how their friendship fell apart as well as appearances from stars like CM Punk and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T.

We then head to the back, where we see Alpha Academy getting ready for their match against WWE NXT Tag Team Champions The Wolf Dogs (Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin) for later tonight.

Lola Vice then makes her way down to the ring and issues an open challenge. WWE veteran Natalya answers Vice’s open challenge as she makes her way down to the ring. Vice then tackles Natalya and the referee rings the bell as this match is officially underway.

Singles Match: Lola Vice vs. Natalya

The match starts off with Vice and Natalya trading strikes. Vice then tries to escape by rolling out of the ring, but Natalya follows her. The fight then spills back into the ring and Vice hits a flurry of kicks on Natalya that sends Natalya crumbling to the mat. Natalya then goes for the Sharpshooter, but Vice reverses it into a knee bar. Natalya then manages to get to the ropes and Vice hits a spinning back fist on Natalya. Natalya then kicks out and Vice puts Natalya in a triangle. Natalya then gets to the ropes and Carmen Petrovic makes her way down to the ring. Vice then notices Petrovic, but still manages to hit a hip attack on Natalya. Natalya and Vice then trade submission attempts. Vice then misses a kick and Natalya rolls up Vice for the win.

We then head outside of the WWE Performance Center, where we see Joe Gacy throw Shawn Spears’ chair off of the roof of the building as Spears looks on. WWE NXT North American Champion Oba Femi then appears and steps on the chair.

We then get a video package on Sol Ruca, which hypes up a future showdown between Ruca and Blair Davenport. Davenport is then interviewed by Kelly Kincaid and Davenport cuts a promo on Ruca.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: WWE NXT Champion “The Mad Dragon” Ilja Dragunov vs. The Family’s Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo

The match starts off with Stacks delivering a flurry of offense on Dragunov. Dragunov then hits a powerbomb on Stacks and calls for the H-Bomb, but Stacks kicks Dragunov away. Stacks then takes Dragunov down and stomps on his hand as Dragunov screams in pain. Stacks then works on Dragunov’s injured hand, but Dragunov tries to get back in the match and hits a German suplex on Stacks. Dragunov then hits another powerbomb on Stacks and Stacks slowly gets to his feet. Dragunov then hits his Torpedo Moskau finisher on Stacks for the win.

We then head to the back, where we see “The Don Of NXT” Tony D’Angelo tell Luca Crusifino to find WWE NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov and invite him to a special dinner.

We then get the second part of the Prime Target video of Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams, where we see Trick Williams hanging out with his Uncle James and looking back on what the city of Philadelphia means to him.

We then head to the back, where we see The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows) confront WWE NXT Tag Team Champions The Wolf Dogs (Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin).

Ridge Holland is then shown standing in the middle of the ring as he will address the NXT Universe.

Ridge Holland starts off by saying it is extremely hard for him to come out to the ring and say what he is about to. Holland says he knew this day would come, but he didn’t think it would come so soon. Holland thanks the NXT crew and talent, then says he always told himself that he would have to have difficult conversations if he hesitated. Holland then says that he knows the perception around him and says he sees all the comments. Holland also says he is tired of taking his work home with him and he is tired of his job taking away from the things he finds most valuable in life as a father and a husband.

Holland then says he has had two difficult conversations with his loved ones and with himself in a mirror. Holland says rugby and wrestling require both physical and mental resilience, but he has been lacking in both of those departments. Holland then says he has made a decision in the best interest of himself and his family, then says he is officially stepping away from in-ring competition indefinitely. Holland then says as difficult of a choice as it has been, he is lucky to have had the opportunity to step foot in WWE and perform in front of millions of people. Holland then thanks NXT once again for allowing him to come back and have one last shot at redemption. Holland then lays down the mic in the ring as fans thank him. Holland then makes his way to the back.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Josh Briggs vs. Chase U’s Duke Hudson

The match starts off with Briggs hitting a chop on Hudson, then following that up with an elbow. Briggs then sends Hudson’s face into the top turnbuckle. Briggs then hits Hudson with another back elbow, but Hudson knocks Briggs down and hits him with a hurricanrana. Hudson then sends Briggs into the middle rope, then hits him with a sidewalk slam. Hudson then hits Briggs with a shoulder on his midsection, then follows that up with a German suplex. Briggs then sends Hudson into the ring steps spine first.

Briggs then delivers a standing splash on Hudson and places him on the top turnbuckle. Briggs then looks to join him, but Hudson fights him off and stands up. Briggs then trips Hudson and hits him with a superplex before Hudson hits Briggs with a couple of clotheslines and a boot. Hudson then hits Briggs with right hands, then follows that up with an elbow and a running senton. Hudson then knocks Briggs down, but Briggs comes back with a back suplex and climbs to the top rope. Hudson then pulls him off and hits Briggs with a powerbomb, then follows it up with a clothesline for the win.

After the match, Dijak jumps up on the apron as WWE NXT North American Champion Oba Femi appears. Femi says Briggs and Dijak both picked up monumental victories tonight and he can now say he has two worthy opponents who are looking to climb the mountain. Femi also says he is the mountain, then announces that Briggs and Dijak will both challenge him for the WWE NXT North American Championship at NXT Stand & Deliver. Femi then tells both Briggs and Dijak that neither of them will be able to reach the summit on April 6th.

We then get the third part of the Prime Target video, where Carmelo Hayes sends a message to Trick Williams.

We then head to the production truck, where we see Meta-Four take things over. Meta-Four announces that they will be the hosts of NXT Stand & Deliver.

We then see an invitation get sent to WWE NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov to attend a meeting with “The Don Of NXT” Tony D’Angelo.

We then get the entrances of the main event, which is a Tag Team Match.

Tag Team Match: WWE NXT Tag Team Champions The Wolf Dogs (Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin) vs. Alpha Academy (Otis and Akira Tozawa) (If Alpha Academy wins, they will be added to the NXT Tag Team Title Match at Stand & Deliver)

The match starts off with Breakker running over Tozawa. Otis then tags in and hits a nasty clothesline on Breakker. Corbin then tags in and gets hits with a clothesline as well. Tozawa then hits a pop up rana on Corbin, then follows that up with a missile dropkick. Otis then press slams Tozawa over the top of his head onto Corbin and Breakker. Corbin and Breakker are then working on Tozawa, but Tozawa manages to tag Otis in. Otis then clears the ring and suplexes Breakker and Corbin at the same time. Otis then hits the World’s Strongest Slam on Breakker, but Corbin breaks up the pinfall attempt. Tozawa then hits Corbin with a shining wizard. Otis and Tozawa then set up a doomsday device on Breakker, but Breakker catches Tozawa in midair and hits him with a powerslam. Corbin and Breakker then powerbomb Otis off the apron through the commentary desk. Corbin then hits a powerbomb on Tozawa and throws him into a Spear from Breakker. Breakker then pins Tozawa 1-2-3 for the win.

After the match, The Good Brothers, Axiom and Nathan Frazer and LWO all appear at ringside. All teams including The Wolf Dogs brawl with one another as the show comes to a close.
