The former Honorary Uce has played pivotal roles in numerous emotionally charged segments throughout WWE history, particularly during his involvement with The Bloodline. Despite not capturing the world title yet, his contributions have garnered him a devoted fanbase.

In an interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling, the former Tag Team Champion shared his insight into why fans are drawn to his segments. It ultimately came down to the fact that Sami Zayn displays real emotion and fans connect with that, thereby making them invested.

“I think when you perform with your whole heart, and you perform, and they, the fans that is, they sense that it is real, and the emotion’s real… And even if you are a staunch critic, or you think wrestling is silly or whatever it is, I think it would be hard-pressed to go into the audience and not feel that emotion when you know the performer is feeling that emotion.”
