The Rock’s current heel persona seamlessly blends his Hollywood charisma with the attitude he displayed in the late ’90s, captivating fans with his multifaceted character. Recently, The Rock has been using profanity regularly on social media, leading to reports that WWE talent feel Vince McMahon’s era of double standards has returned with The Rock’s comeback. However, The Rock has since refuted those reports.

Since The Rock’s return to WWE, one of the most noticeable changes has been his frequent use of profanity on social media, a departure from his previous approach. This has surprised fans and even led to other wrestlers like Cody Rhodes delivering expletive-laden promos on RAW recently.

According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was reported that some talent in WWE feel that the era of Vince McMahon’s double standards when it came to pushing just handpicked stars has come back after The Rock’s return.

One person noted that there was a feeling that the era of Vince McMahon’s double standards for his handpicked stars and for everyone else was over, and then The Rock shows up and it’s exactly the same.
